1996 honda civic vtec idling problem

good day all.... need help in finding an expert mechanic to check the idling problem on our 1996 honda civic vtec.... idling drops , and at times engine turns off...

Had you tried replacing your spark plugs? I think this one will define your problem.

our car is honda civic vti 96 model AT with d15b engine.
ang problema ay mataas ang idling pag start then pag shift na
sa D namamatay na po ang makina. spark plugs are new.

d15b ibig sabihin nagpalit na ng makina dyan.pinalitan din kaya ng com box yan.

hi jaypee...nung 2010 pa nagpalit ng makina at kasama din sa pinalitan yung comp box. last week lang nangyari yung problema.

sabi ng mekaniko kanina baka daw electrical o computer box.... may kinalaman kaya sa electrical yun?

ipalinis ko lang yung throttle body sensor? pwede ko ba "DIY" yun? thanks!

go first for the easier part before trying else others method, try to clean your throttle body and IACV with carb cleaner, if still no effect then go for other option.

sir ganito din po prob ko? ano po bang solusyon?
tapos yung akin parang hinihika humabahol sa pag hinga yung engine kapag nakapatay air con sa P and N pero sa D naman okie na..
tapos madalas tinaasan ko minor kasi namamatay pag naka open aircon kasi bumababa yung minor.. , okie sya..kapag tumagal tapos pag nagamit na ng matagal.. biglang baba uli then nahinga na pag naka P and N..
tulong naman mga honda experts pls.. thank you..

Ganito rin problem ko.... ano kaya ang dapat gawin... nagpalinis na ako IACV and ganon pa din ang idling... any suggestions will be of great help....

Good day! Ask ko lang po anu kaya prob sa 95 honda civic esi (P16 valve engine) aircon system ko. bought the car a month ago and have it AC back to service last week. palit po ako compressor, filter at evap valve, palinis condenser, evap at tubings due to black oil contamination.

Working naman po, pero ang prob at a certain time mga 10- mins malamig pa singaw pero after it lasts to 10 or more mins umiinit po ang singaw na inilalabas niya. Sabi ng Mech na napaggawaan ko po, sa timing lang yun. Anu po masasabi ninyo? First graceful car ko po kasi to kaya worried ako. tapos RPM niya when AC is turned on nasa 800 to 1100 fluctuating. magalaw kamay nung RPM. nataas/nababa...
