April 8th, 2010 01:57 PM #1good day!
maraming salamat.....

April 8th, 2010 02:30 PM #2this might help...
things you will need:
-radiator flush (can be bought sa mga ACE hardware / handyman or suking auto supply)
-distilled dringking water (make sure DISTILLED not MINERAL)
-radiator coolant
-fishball and ice tea
procedures:
4. turn off engine and let it cool again. tapos drain mo ulit... makikita mo ang mga residue at onting kalawang na lalabas.
5. final step - fill it up with your coolant. again, read instructions if how many parts coolant and water combination.
Happy DIY!
as per coolant ng honda, i dont have an idea kung magkano sa casa, but for me aftermarket coolant works best.

April 8th, 2010 02:51 PM #4hehe SOP talaga ang mirienda... not to offend you sir pero as per regular maintenance ng coolant according sa manual kelangan ng radiator flush just to make sure. and besides ang tanong ng TS is how to totally drain water from the engine and radiator para siguro makampante sya... just my opinion

I'm using Shell Coolguard OAT for now - this comes in the orange-labeled bottle. Okey naman.

After draining the coolant is it a good idea to run water into the radiator from tap to clean it out?
Or instead use blown air from a vacuum para hindi malakas?
Similar ito sa diesel fuel flushing method na ginagawa sa petrol engine oil change. when we did this, the engine sounded newly overhauled after. Worked like one too.
Choice I would have made as well.
