we actually had our fd repaired over there when it met a minor accident (it had a big dent on the rear bumper). it was released as scheduled w/ no real hassle. but i guess what made it easy for us is because i've befriended our suking SA so i guess he was the one personally checking on the car's progress. takot siguro mapahiya kaya ganun
but it's true though that some parts i've ordered takes about 3 working days to procure. and a lot of these parts were for my old ek pa. the parts i remember w/c took some time to receive were stuff like clips, rice bulb for the hazard button, and gaskets (all for the ek).
going through a similar experience. we have no idea on the status of our CRV na pinasok namin sa service center nila last week. kahit updates wala! nada! zilch! sometimes parang imagination lang yata namin na may CRV pa pala kami. we've been trying to get a hold of the mechanic in charge pinagtatakpan pa ng sumasagot ng phone nila. either he's on lunch break or hindi pumasok that day or immediately busy na agad yung line to that person. normally we're very patient people but this is just too much! and all along we thought a certain sense of professionalism would be worth the hefty service charge.
maraming factors kaya natatagalan yung body repair works.
insurance
parts availability
ordering ng parts
technician availability
pati yung klase ng bangga
etc.
