October 7th, 2007 11:19 AM #3Thank you for the reply sir!
Another question lang po. Nabasa ko sir somewhere in this forum that 2001-2005 civics have a lot of defects. Would you still recommend the 2002 civic vtis?

The two major defects, the gas tank strap and the cam position sensor, are covered by warranty (i.e.: you should be able to have these done for free at the casa). Otherwise, the 2001-2005 Civics are fine.
The SiR is a more desirable car, but it's older... a 2002 VTi-S would be a more comfortable and hassle-free daily drive.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

October 8th, 2007 05:04 PM #5Add ko lang, kung casa maintained yung car and on the off chance na di pa nako-correct yung problems (medyo doubtful), palagay ko they'll STILL fix them under warranty if you bring them to the original dealer where the unit had been seeing service. I know they did this for the buyer of one of our previous 2000 Civics.

Those problems are valid and was recalled by honda few years back. If you are going to buy a second hand then It is most likely fixed already.
Niky is correct, SIR is more desirable but Vti-s is practically good to own.

October 9th, 2007 12:17 PM #7the Vti-S is practical for everyday driving especially with the a/t, looks good and newer but the SiR is more desirable and may be old but prices are stable. in another 10 years time the SiR will still be desirable while the Vti-S will just be a regular 2nd hand Civic.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
