Battery negative terminal (HOT)

I recently bought a 2nd hand city 2010 a/t model. Just want to ask what are the cause of the hot wire in the battery, Ayaw mag start kanina ng auto ko. Last weekend nadehydrate yun battery nya so dinala ko sa motolite and nilagyan nya ng battery fluid and chinarge. Tapos umandar na nung naayos. And then when I start my car this morning ayaw ulit umandar and pagpunta ko sa hood mainit yun ground wire. Please help me on this. thanks

It looks like loose ground wire bro... Check if the connection is tight between the battery terminal and the body of the car... Isang wire lang naman iyan, di ba?

any ideas bakit uminit ung ground wire kahit loose connection?

yes bro, negative wire lang sya. So it does not affect the whole electrical wiring of the car?

sir baka meron kang short, check mo other parts ng car mo na umiinit.

kung wala kang short, baka kaya umiinit ung ground mo e marami kang electronic gadgets (loaded na ung wire), try mo magdagdag ng grounding cable from battery to other parts of your car with negative connection.

wala naman gaano gadget yon. meron lang sya lcd audio and security alarm. okay hanap ako magaling na auto electrician.

The reason I was saying that it is "only one wire", is because the (negative) battery terminal is directly wired/connected to the body of the car, as in the case of the City.....

Sir, make sure it is tight and grounded sa body ng car ung negative terminal and have a qualified car electrician to check kung may short or grounded may standard test yan na ginagawa malalaman na agad.

Is it very hot?

If not (just warm to the touch), just check if
1. the connector to the battery terminal and (I assume that the connection is clean)
2. the connector to the body of the car
are tight...

Then drive it to the nearest shop for checkout...

No need to alter the setup, bro.
