increasing the number of fins does not increase the efficiency of collecting dusts.
it merely increases the effective surface area, resulting in more air passing thru per unit time.
mas malakas ang buga ng hangin ng aircon, kapag maraming accordion sa filter.

    banawe = 400 to 600 (replacement )

    See the big difference.

Isa pa dapat iwasan yung "lubricants" daw ilalagay sa makina.

sisingilin ka ng 1,900 for that anonymous lubricants.... hindi maexplain para saan yan.....

Ang kailangan lang sa makina eh engine oil......

Wag magpabola.... Ask for the breakdown first and just refuse sa mga unnecessary....

Also refuse the flushing fluid...... another gimmick ng casa....
Updated pa ba to? Ano ano ba pwedeng ipa waive sa casa pag nagpa PMS?

Paki check naman ito. Nakuha ko lang sa isang group. Credits to the owner.
Alin kaya Jan ang pwedeng tanggalin? Yung hindi naman kailangan sa PMS.

i'd OK only the oil and oil filter w/ washer, and the air filter.
i'd wash my aircon filter, instead of replacing it.
i'd even go mineral oil instead of synthetic.

the rest, "next time na lang po, at wala sa budget, e". (translation: you can do it, but don't charge me, as i don't have the money to pay for it.")
    heh heh.

    good luck.

Tanggalin mo Items 9-13 easily 5k savings on unnecessary items. Other jobs pagawa mo sa labas kung gusto mo, mas mura, yun din naman gagawin nila, may cut pa sila. If you backread, malalaman mo kung bakit di kailangan nung mga items na sinabi ko.

Items 2-4 is par for the course, although you can buy a Baldwin, Donaldson or Fleetguard filter which will be cheaper and works much better. For the engine oil, that's the casa price for the Toyota 5w40 FS oil, but you can find it cheaper outside, that is, if you're even allowed to bring in your own oil. As most here have already mentioned, you may forego of items 7 to 16.

Nakalagay na mismo sa manual na huwag lagyan ng engine oil additives kasi makakasama sa engine. Pero inoofer pa rin ng casa yung X-1R.

    Need your opinion and advise:

Barely using my other car as it is only for coding purposes. It's now 6years old (bought brand new first hand) and only 35Tkm.

I still prefer to bring it to casa, has been like that since I bought it from the dealer. My last PMS was Dec last year when it reached 5yrs old.

Now what will be the absolute minimum replacements and services you recommend. My understanding, these are as follows:
    1. Change oil and oil filter
    2. Air filter?
    3. Tire rotation
    4. Check fluid levels, top-up/replace if needed
    5. Bolt tightening

    What else?

I don't think I need to replace cabin filter as I always use closed flap (recirc).

    Thank you.

I would change the atf. if its a 4spd toyota, the atf might not be pink anymore.

Since youll have the tires rotated..have the brakes cleaned..pacheck mo na rin kung may grasa pa yun wheel axle..pacheck mo na rin yun bearings sa wheel axle kung buo pa

Dont forget to have the wheels balanced after rotating

For normal tire wear, there's no need to re-balance it after a tire rotation.
