another idling issue

hi guys,

my 96 civic has idling problems. i know this has been discussed a lot times already but there seems to be no concrete solution. with no load it idles at 800 rpm with a/c on it kicks up a bit to 850 rpm. it looks fine but when you rev the engine to about 2k rpm then release the gas pedal, the rpm drops quickly to almost 200 rpm then sets back to its normal setting. some mechanics say my IACV's fine and just needed more air. we tried to adjust the idle screw a couple of times but the problem didn't go away.

someone told me that the culprit maybe the ECU itself or the fuel pump. is this possible? i hope not the ECU...

Try to clean the MAF sensor (be very carefull though) then reset the ECU.

hi thanks sa reply but i think my mechanic already did that. it's the sensor located just above the throttle body? but nothing happened....

maaaring yun O2 sensor or yung servo.

kung may problema na talaga ang ECU mo dalhin mo na lang sa kabignayan st. bandang banawe yun, kung manggagaling ka ng e. rodriguez nasa papuntang banawe kakanan ka, kung manggagaling ka naman ng quezon ave. kakaliwa ka ngayon kung nasa kabignayan ka na magtanong ka na lang isa sa mga surplus shop dun at ipagtanong mo na lang si JESS ituturo nila ang bahay nya dun.

o kaya tawagan mo na lang sa number na'to

415-6347 bago ka pumunta at baka makadiscount ka pa dun kasi direkta ka pumunta sa gumagawa ng ECU kung pinadaan mo pa yan sa ibang tao malamang pinatungan pa yan ng malaki.

Sir pareho tayo ng problema.Ganyan din ang problema ko with car vti96.Update ka naman if ever na resolve mo na to.thanks

sir good day ganyan din problem ng 97 vtec ko pag wala ac nasa 800 rpm nya pag naka ac den ng gas ka baba yun rpm up to 200 then mag choke yun engine sabi ng mekaniko ecu valve bumili ako worth 10k na brand new ecu ganyan pa din san kaya pwde ipayos to ganito klase problema ng kotse nag palinis na din ako throtlle body ganyan pa din tps at map sensor bumili ganyan pa din ano kaya real prob nito kotse ganito
