Good to see OEM branded wipers available in local hardwares. Dati kasi mga China ripoff lang eh. Mura nga but doesn't last as long either.

Before train law, the NWB wipers were the same price as the rubber refill of Honda, around 1k+ each for the FB.

Which is why I bought Elevo, 350 each ata, 2 summers and it's still good today

Is this the banana type? Also what’s the difference between NWB and Denso brand? saw both at handyman and they are almost identical. The only difference is that denso is pretty much cheaper by more or less php400.

Banana-type blades as most Filipinos call it, are more commonly known as Beam Blades to the rest of the world. They were introduced in the mid 2000s as better alternatives to the conventional wiper blades since they were one-piece blades with more even wiping pressure. Locally I first saw them on the 2005 Ford Focus and 2006 Civic FD. The current Civic FC still uses beam blades as its OEM wipers.

The blades I bought are called Hybrid Blades which were introduced a few years ago. Basically, hybrid blades are more aerodynamic than conventional hybrid blades and have a more modern design that has similar or better wiping capability compared to a beam blade.

Understanding Hybrid Wiper Blades - Professional Motor Mechanic

Between NWB and Denso, both are good Japan-made blades. AFAIK more cars have NWB as their OEM wiper so I chose that. But if I wae penny pinching I think the Denso blades are a great choice too.

Do they carry these sa lazada? Tries looking but the sets look cheaper so I’m assuming not hybrid. Can’t find 26 18 inch combo rin.

Hindi na yan sumasabit unlike the stock wipers noh?

I mean pag inaangat mo yung sa driver side, sumasabit dun sa arm ng passenger side na arm.

I've had Denso wipers (same design from above) and it performs okay, mahal lang kase yung NWB.

Yes bro hindi sumasabit unlike the thicker OEM wipers.

Btw for those nearing 40k km, this is the CVT fluid. 3.5L lang may sobra pa. Much less than even the traditional ATs.

Sir, reupholstered, meaning tanggal cloth, itira foam, then stitch leatherette or leatherette on top of the cloth?

Do you know how much reupholstery nila ng seats? Thanks

They completely removed the cloth and replaced it with the synthetic leather trim.

Full genuine leather for the seats is 45k. "Casa standard" where the seatbacks and sides are synthetic while the rest is leather is 40k. Pure synthetic leather reupholstery is 14.5k.

For me, any of the 3 options are much better than the poor-fitting synthetic leather seat covers for 6.5k.

Thanks. At 14.5k reupholster, parang pwede na. Almost x 2 lang nung bulky and mas mainit dahil nakaflat sa likod na seatcover

Very nice. How long did that take and who did it? How about the rest of the interior?

Seatmate. Took 6 hours to do it. I'm also having the center armrest reupholstered - had a miscomm with them so it wasn't included in today's job order. Will come back tomorrow for them to finish the job.

Leaving the cloth seats since I like the design and it's been easy to clean so far. Plus it doesn't cook my eggs during summer. [emoji23]

I'd have liked to have the steering wheel wrapped with leather but they would have to wrap it over the urethane base so it'll be too thick. The urethane in the Civic is nice to touch anyway unlike the urethane in other cheaper cars.
