Good advice for those wanting to increase FC, though! Others would most likely find your advice useful.
Malaki din improvement nun sa performance. Hindi mo maabot yung advertised fuel consumption kung meron nun. Ilan km max range?

I'll finally get my 1.8E today. Luckily, another agent had contacted me the other day to tell me that a unit was available for me. Will get the Modern Steel Metallic instead of Lunar Silver Metallic, which is just fine with me because Modern Steel was actually my first choice of color, originally.

May I ask did you have it delivered, or is it allowed for us to drive from dealer to owners residence w/o OR/CR ?

Finally drove my Civic home last night. Had to go to the office early this morning so I haven't had a chance to really check out the car.

I noticed a very cool feature - you can remotely start the car engine from the key fob. Is this a standard feature originally or was it part of the minor upgrade from the 2016 to the 2017 model?

I'll take pictures of the car after I'm done having it glass coated this weekend.

I had initially reserved with one dealer on the third week of April, with a commitment that they would produce a unit for me within two weeks. When they couldn't produce, I started calling other dealers. One of these dealers was Makati. I called them last Friday. By Monday morning, I was told that a unit was available for me (although it wasn't the color that I had initially told them). I was able to complete all requirements by Wednesday and took the unit home yesterday.

Wala pa din firm date ng arrival sir, lagi sinasabi, malapit na daw..malapit na nga kami mainip..parang mas available yata yung WOP na RS..I am convincing nga si misis na i-trade in na namin yung 2010FD for an RS then, tumitingin tingin din ako ibang brand..Volkswagen Jetta Comfort line is kapresyo lang ng 1.8E...2.0Tdi, diesel, DSG, parang ok din sya.

Sabi SA una daw kami sa pila. Dont know how true that is.. Kelan ka pa nagpareserve sir?

For anyone who has the 1.8E:

    1. This has a "walk-away" lock feature right? The doors supposedly lock if the key is more than 2.5 meters away? How do you activate it? I'm not sure if my unit does it.

    2. I tried plugging a USB stick into the USB port (I tried both ports - the one in the console under the head unit and the one inside the center console between the front seats) but the head unit merely says "there is no USB connected". What should I do?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, it has a walk away feature. I fiddled with the console settings and managed to find the door lock options. Not sure how I found it, but, I simply navigated and tinkered.

Btw, mine is the 2017 version. Not sure for the 2016.

I haven't tried this with a USB stick. But, it works fine with my iPod attached to the USB port. It also works well with the iPad via Bluetooth connection even if it is 10-12ft away. More than this, it gets choppy.

Yes sir, nandun nga sa vehicle settings menu ang walk away auto lock. Dinisable ko na rin ung auto unlock pag nilagay mo sa P ung shifter saka activate ung autolock by speed.
