Just saw a civic fully decked out to look like a type r, its disappointing somebody would go to great lengths to do it.
I know its his car, his money and his rules but question is why?
Its so easy to make the current gen look good, a set of aftermarket JDM wheels and lower a little bit and it will already be perfect.
I saw one with the fake 3 pc center exhaust. The exhausts were NOT even hollow. Hahaha. WTF talaga.

Hahaha! Madaming ganyan as FB groups.. Yung iba naka stock E or RS mags pa..
Meron pa nga E na nilagyan ng RS turbo badge.
Madaming Civic Fake Rs dun saka fake SIs.
Personally mas gusto ko pa looks ng SI kesa sa Type R.
An automatic/CVT SI is the perfect daily sana plus a good weekend runner.
what's the big deal?
we do it every day.
it's called "make-up" (for women) and "grooming" (for men).
heh heh.
I would definitely want the Type R front end and side profile added to my normal Civic if I had one [emoji28]
But the rear end is a bit too much for me.

It's called tacky. Also called pretending to be something you're not.
Of course, their car, their money, their rules. But just as they're entitled to dress up their cars whatever way they want, other people are entitled to their own opinions about these cars - and many, myself included, find pretentious cars very distasteful.

Ignore about the "Emblem"
Yung owner ng RS 1.5..
Mas mataas pa ang insurance kaysa sa PPV's
"Fuel-efficiency" rather than performance...
Paano kung gusto niya ng performance?
Not everyone needs to have the same value set as yours when buying a car.
Yes, PPVs are practical vehicles. But some people don't need what these PPVs offer. Some people see more value in a car that seats 5 in comfort yet can go from 0-100 in 7 seconds.

The Civic, being a mid-market global model, has perhaps the widest array of aftermarket parts available. And long after its heyday is over, we will continue to see it being modded to no end. Call it garish, elegant, pretentious or whatever... we'll have to admit the variety keeps things interesting and provides the community with plenty of options.
Every now and then we get to pick up something to our liking. And it's absolutely good fun especially at the cheap prices they usually come at. As for the accessories and mods that we don't like, well they're at least amusing and worth a few good laughs.![]()
I have no use for a pickup, the bed is literally useless for me. I find it troublesome to secure our belongings in the bed if ever my wife and kids will go out.
As for my father doing some business, he has a few FB for it. For personal use, it is so "difficult" for him to have a pickup so he never considered one.
It really depends on your needs and wants.
What I get irritated about are people that always degrade non-ppv or non-4wd cars/cuvs to be inferior to their vehicles that are supposedly made like tanks to withstand abuse and accident crashes. Wala nang magaling na sasakyan but their own like we who prefer sedans, cuv’s didn’t choose wisely.
You can say the same with PPV haters here with how their "premium" CUVs and sedans with unibody frames offer unparalleled handling, ride comfort and fuel economy against PPVs.
Mostly it's just the "love your own" mentality rearing its ugly head. The simple reality is kanya-kanyang advantages and use cases lang naman yan.
Well the big difference is it’s when peoplI say that sedans handle or ride better than cuvs, it is actually true and valid. When you say that cuvs ride is more plush or comfortable than ppv’s or trucks, it is also true. But for someone to say that his PPV with its “superior” chassis will keep him alive better than any unibody car, A lot of people will contest.
Not generalizing all ppv users, more of gripe against certain people’s superiority complex.
