No.3 isn't bad at all for a CVT.
Saw this in the flesh....way better than the previous.
2018 was the target launch for an even better Sky that aims an efficiency increase of 30%....who needs hybrids?

I've seen many other reviews and videos from other publications that put the all new Civic on top. Isn't it the north american car of the year?

Honda Civic is still the best all around vehicle for regular people who couldn't care less about what car magazines / websites say. Car reviewers will pick the Mazda 3 because of it's looks and handling but for daily use and practicality it won't beat the Honda Civic X.
The 1.8e price tag of 1.088m is not bad considering the features it was given

For the same price as the Civic 1.8E, the Ford Focus 1.5L Ecoboost base models offer more features and power output. If you aim for comfort from a compact sedan, the Altis 1.6V and Sylphy 1.8V offer a good amount of features for 100k less.
If gunning to buy a new Civic, you might as well go the whole nine yards for the 1.5L Turbo.
The Plus models of the Focus Ecoboost have push button start plus the active city stop and automatic parking system. Not sure though if it has HID or LED but the base models only have Halogen headlights. However, all models have the same 1.5L Ecoboost turbo powerplants. The Focus Ecoboost is a second slower to 100kmh compared to the Civic 1.5L Turbo, based on most tests conducted.
Hmmm...looking at the 1.8E as a worthy replacement for my 2010 FD. I was seriously considering the Altis 1.6V, but it is not well-equipped compared to the Civic. For a 100K difference I get more safety features like VSA, LED headlights, Auto Brake Hold, an EPB, ESS, plus a bigger 1.8L engine, cruise control and a better ICE with back up camera and a fresher look. Now, time for me to see it in the metal.
And so it begins...
Sweeeeeet
2 16 Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo gets increased output of up to 225 PS, 285 Nm with RaceChip plug-and-play unit
Nice! I wonder though about the reliability of such a small engine being boosted that much with the race chip.

The engine cooling is very good imo. I think it can take the extra boost.
