Meron akong nakitang deal sa *****************.

    Honda Jazz 1.5 VX
    SRP: 918k
    DP: 68k
    MA: 16346
    Term: 60 mos

Loanable amount ay 850k interest for the whole term 130k.

    my recommendation:
get the largest DP you can afford. you will thank yourself for it, afterward.. every month!
in my opinion, if you have problems getting funds, even for that low DP, you will have problems with the monthlies..

it's not the "good deal", as it is the affordable schedule of payments, spread over 60 months, that one should worry about.
yung DP, one shot lang yan! after forking over the money, the next day, wala na sa system mo yan! but yung 60 monthly payments, 5 years yan!

Well my point is good deal siya in a sense na dahil san ka basta basta makakakita ng ganyang kababang interest for a 60 month term na low dp? Madalas kasi low dp tapos interest for a 60 month term is 40% up.

Though I agree with your recommendation.

the usual suggestion one gets here, is to get three quotations from three different sources, and compare.
but i will ask you to inquire re. "hidden costs"...
    - service maintenance deals. sometimes kasi, the front price seems lower, until you inquire and find out that the pms costs are "different" with the deal you are entertaining.. i found this out... in the casa, some pms-ers were paying a different price as i was.. they had this "ticket" which came with the car.. i didn't have such ticket.
    - getting-into-mortgage fees, and getting-out-of-mortgage fees. who's a'payin' for these?
    - the monthlies? is that all-in? or are there other, non-mentioned fees?

    have fun, sir.
buying a new car should always be a pleasant experience.
bulatlatin nyo lahat, sir. there is no such thing as free, in the auto industry. but they are very good at hiding monies, where it would be invisible if buyer does not inquire.

I have to agree to this. I wish I paid more DP nga.

Salamat boss minsan kasi kahit na pag magshift ako ng gear from 3rd to 4th biglang tumataas rpm.

Ah yun pala dahilan.

Has anyone here experienced squeaking noise on dashboard (driver's side) on their Jazz? I hear the noise whenever the speed reaches 60 and up and when the road is bumpy/rough. I noted this problem barely a week after I got the unit. I brought it to the casa and SA said they already solved it via deadening/deadener. The problem still persists though. A big hassle again to bring back car to casa...

    Not on my jazz sir.
Dashboard is inside the car, no matter how much sound deadening materials they put inside, it will never fix the problem. Either way, they did not solve the issue, kasi they just put more insulations para hindi audible yung squeaking sound but still the root cause is still there.
