So palit tint talaga.

Got mine light up front then the rest is medium (sides/rear).
You could do medium on sides since dark na yung front/rear.

Guys, I need some inputs re maintenance that you do for your Jazz' exterior trim (rubber, plastic, chrome, etc.).

I decided to post this here instead of the detailing thread (Tamang OC Lang...) 'cause I'm interested in knowing some best practices from fellow Jazz owners.

Our Jazz is barely 3 weeks old and it has water marks on the plastic trim below the windshield and other areas. What product do I use to remove these? What protectant should I apply to lessen or prevent water marks on exterior trim? It's always raining nowadays. Ang hirap magmaintain ng car.

The products I have right now are: Microtex (Nanoglos, Nanosliq, Tire Black, Sunshield), Meg's Ultimate Quick Wax, Mother's Showtime QD. Is there a product from this list that can be used as a protectant? From the detailing thread forum, I learned that some use Tire Black as conditioner/restorer for exterior trim for rubber, and one advised against using it on plastic. How about Microtex Sunshield (for interior purposes), can this be also be used for exterior trim, both rubber and plastic?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Guys.

I'm looking at getting a GK jazz. For the MT owners, whats the engine RPM when cruising at 120kph?

    *shiroi,
Sir, I never had stubborn watermarks on my trims- they can be easily wiped off. I have Meguiars ultimate black restorer which i used (once) nung namuti mga trims ko cause of wax. I'm using microtex sunshield for interiors but haven't tried it on exteriors. For exterior trims- I'm using Megs ultimate protectant.
Btw, i had my exterior window pillar trims wrapped with matte black protective film.

Dami kaseng bird droppings sa white Jazz namin and that's what I use. Kung napuntahan mo yung forum here - Tamang OC Lang - car maintenance for newbies, you'll be amazed at the many products that car owners use to maintain their cars.

I don't know how to wax also but I've been watching Youtube videos and reading autogeek's and Meguiar's articles in the net. Mas maganda talaga may magdemonstrate in person.

Many thanks for the reply. I guess prevention na lang gagawin ko like using Megs Ultimate Protectant or my stock of Megs Ultimate Quik Wax (pwede daw pang exterior trim and interior says this detailing forum in Megs and Youtube post by autofetish; pwede din daw for alloy wheels and glass ).

Which shop did film-wrap on your pillar trims, and how much did it cost you? Di ba sya masisira coz of the rain, sun, pollutants, etc.? TIA

Yeah, about the film wrap, i had mine done * DimmoGrafix (imus cavite)they used 3m films which costs me 1,200.00. AutoFoil (Mandaluyong) also qouted me for 3k. Lots of colors and textures to choose from. Anytime soon i'll have my rear garnish wrapped as well. Gloss black trims on exterior sucks. Durability wise, hmmmm, i think it will hold. Marame akong nakikitang brand new car na wrapped-around.

Yes, sobrang mahal ng Megs! About film wrap, first time knowing na may product/service pala na ganito. I don't know much kase about cars and more so, car maintenance. Buti na lang may tsikot.com hehe.

Sir, tanong ko lang din - would you know anong klaseng wax yung inapply ng mga casa before they release the unit to us? I asked my agent and he said Carnauba wax but it looks like na hindi sya sure. Good for 6 months daw yung wax which I doubt given the rains we have plus our Jazz is parked in an open area pa. I'm thinking kase of availing Big Bert's NCPP program para mas madali ko na lang maintain car. Our car's almost 3 weeks old.

    Many thanks again!
