    Need help!

I checked with honda kung magkano yung aircon switch control and yung price is P27,200, masyadong mahal. Baka lang may idea kayo kung compatible yung surplus switch (from japan or taiwan I think) sa crv na local.

    Thank You

i think you should buy a thermistor.

last time na bumili ako nito, last year nung binubuhay ko yung civic ko na binaha. offer sakin nung casa yung isang buong assembly, more than 20T (no way). sabi ko kelangan ko lang yung thermistor.

binigay nila sakin 1,500.

Thanks, yun nga yung problem pero they called it something like capacitor *****. I had to buy the japanese version switch though kasi yung old switch ko ay kitatay na nung electrician. Sayang kung nalaman ko sana nang maaga. Anyways thank you very much for the info, at least napagana na yung japanese version na switch dahil dun sa capacitor na yun.

    Cheers

    hi sir voltscastillo,

tanong ko lang, my civic 2001 na binaha last september just got out sa casa 2 weeks ago. I didn't have the A/C and the powerlocks fixed kasi sobrang laki na ng nagastos.

anyways, gumagana pa yung aircon nung ginamit ko the first week pro sabi ng honda na may problem daw. last saturday, bigla nalang di gumana.

to make the story short, i've been lurking here sa forums to get a decent shop to get the A/C fixed, and after some research, i went to "Cool Attack" sa may ortigas. they checked the A/C and tinignan nila yung electrical, sabi at first baka yung resistor which is located sa ilalim ng dashboard sa passenger side. when they checked na that wasn't the problem, tinangal nila yung switch and surely enough, amoy sunog and baka yun daw yung problem kasi inabot ng tubig hangang sa stereo ko.

where can i get one? can you recommend a shop that can fix my A/C? I really dont have much to spend sa pag paayos kasi ang laki na ng ginastos ko nung pina-ayos sa casa.

any advise you can give would be very much helpful.

    thanks

    Hi Lomster,

Ganyan din yung naging problem nung CRV ko they just replaced the resistor sa ilalim nang dashboard sa may passenger side, bought it for only P800 sa banawe kasi surplus. Halos lahat nang aircon shops na tinanong ko wala sila replacement for this so last resort ko is banawe pero ok naman kasi until now nag work pa din.

Try mo switch yung blower mo to full power then wait for a couple of seconds kung aandar siya. In my case kasi nag work yung blower pag full power lang pero hindi aandar yung compressor kasi sira yung resistor pero nung napalitan na nag work na lahat.

    hi hatchback,

    Hi Lomster,

Siguro nga nasunog yung switch kasi baka corroded na yung loob kasi hindi nalinis.

I suggest you try banawe kasi meron ka mahahanap both replacement for the resistor and switch para mas madali mag troubleshoot nung problem. I got the japanese version switch for P3500 and yung resistor P800 malayo sa price nung Honda na 28K para sa switch pa lang.
