Accord Keyless Key

Hi guys. Sirain ba talaga ang keyless entry ng accord? I'm planning of getting a new blank keyless key pero im not sure if it is worth it since when I called honda the key is around 7,500 petot. any advice? thanks!

Baka naman mahina na yung battery kaya ayaw gumana. Why not try replacing it muna?

Best option would be for you to buy a decent branded alarm, (yung less than 5k), and use their keyfob as keyless entry. Other low-end alarms (Cobra, Giordon, etc.), can be had for less than 2k.

actually nawala ko kc yung keyless key (yung nsa key yung switc mismo ng keyless), i wanted to restore it back sana sa dati kaya lang is it worth it pa kaya knowing yung price? Wala nmn ytang nabibilhan ng ganung key except sa casa?

I think you mean keyless entry. Wala pa akong nakikitang keyless key, hehehe.

Sa casa lang talaga nakakabili nun. But at 7.5k a pop, I'd rather buy an alarm, and use they keyfob as keyless entry. Sabi nila, may nagdu-duplicate daw ng wave key sa Megamall, but it's not that reliable. Occasionally, puwede sa door at ignition, pero sometimes, ayaw gumana.

hmmm i never had problem on my keyless alarm yet but i do chage my batt every year, i dont drop my key remote so no problems. my wife owned an 1996 accord when we started dating and its same no problem with it.
