Honda Trans is vital and must change every 50,000 Kilometers to make sure smooth operation of your tranny.
I highly recommend to use HONDA TRANS. FLUID ONLY...also dont forget to change the filter also. If budget is concern at least have theme plush your filter but must change after your second change of fluid. Trans is one of the heart and soul of your car, yet it is one of the most neglected parts of the car.
Spend a little money now and guarantee your tranny is one happy gilroy and stay with you for the life of your car.
For trans:
HONDA GENUINE.. HG ATF-21
HONDA PARTS #08200-9001

For engine..
5-30w
5-25w

For brake..
DOT-3
DOT-4
If you use DOT 3 before then use DOT 3 only. If your planning to use DOT 4 in your car then make sure to flush out all DOT 3 in your brake system.

pano ba procedure na mangyayari pag ginawa un?

Most gas stations, Shell included, only drain the ATF from the drainplug. Then refill using a pump. Hindi na nila binababa yung transmission crankcase (yun na ba tawag dun?), kaya hindi na nila nalilinis yung filter. Kasi ganito ginawa nila sa Petron, when I had it flushed.

To be sure, ipa-Transtech mo na. Search mo na lang dito, marami nang thread regarding it.

Here is the type of flushing your tranny is they connect FLUSH MACHINE into the transmission cooler lines, a line from the tranny (transmission)to the tranny cooler is disconnected and connected to the FLUSH MACHINE. The line out from the FLUSH MACHINE carrying new fluid is connected to the line going to the cooler.

There is a chamber on the FLUSH MACHINE that has diaphragm in it. The top part of the chamber above the diapragm is filled with new fluid. The engine is started which turn the torque converter and the input shaft on the tranny. The input shafts turn the tranny pump and it makes hydraulic pressure. This causes fluid flows throught the cooler lines.

As fluid leaves the cooler lines it enter the chamber on the FLUSH MACHINE. As the old fluid side of the diaphragm fills it pushes the diaphragm up and forces new fluid into the tranny. After all the old fluid is collected in the FLUSH MACHINE it is replaced by new fluid. Now your tranny has been flushed.

DRAINING transmission w/o flushing is not much of fluid change. Most of your tranny fluid is inside the torque converter, transmission cooler and transmission cooler line. The only way to to get it is to flushed.

About your tranny filter?
You can only access your filter by dropping the Transmission pan ( same as oil pan in your engine) located under your transmission. I believe there is 16 or 18 8mm bolts that must be remove from the pan. Madaling gawin yan. Have them clean it.
