    it can use mineral to synthetic. but since its a 12 year old car already, i would just recommend that you use a mineral based oil na lang. just have it changed regularly at 5k kms.

    mineral or synthetic will do....

    i still use synthetic on my 2000 civic...

    i used mineral oil 20w-50 for my 97 civic and change it every 5000km.

    i use 10w-40 semi-synths. ganda naman performance niya. iyon nga lang kailangan da din i-tono ek ko kasi medyo malakas na din kumonsumo

    Grade 4, section 6, row 4. peace..

    Use 5w-30 or 5w-20. I use 5w-20 on my V6 accord.
