Ala po ak alam sa mga cars... Sa forum nyo lng ak nka2basa ng konti.

A friend is selling me a 95-accord daw n model. All power/ leather seats/ a/t/ magic tint/ alarm/ keyless entry. Sagot daw nya ung condition (his a mechanic). He is offering it to me at 170k. Is this a worth it deal?

I wanted a second hand honda with big eyes. (Un primary reason ko bakit honda gusto ko, (dumb i know)). Ok na sn un since good condition un car tapos with all those features. Kaso hindi sya big eyes. Hindi ba mukhang pinaglumaan un 95-accord?

I can spare 230k max. 170k lng un accord. Do you guys think I should wait and look for another car that has big eyes since I can spare more money?

I was looking for a thread to compare the 95accord with a 96 lxi/vti (as this was what I was thinking of buying kaso ala ako makita under 230k)

So in short un pong concern/question ko,

Is the 95 Accord worth it in terms of:
    1. Pricing (okay po ba sya sa 170)?
    2. Hindi ba mukhang luma ung 95 Accord (as in un exterior apperance nya compare sa 96 lxi/vti)?

And my friend nga pala told me that I have till Saturday to decide. Please give your comment how ever simple it is.

    Thank you.

find a 96-97 model of accord LXi or vti.
The city is the low end of the models and with low displacement engines. as the name implies, it is a city car, not for long drives.

sir ok yung 95 na accord, we have the 94 and it still looks decent and ok pa power. yun nga lang ang lakas sa gas. sa price, hmmm medyo mataas for me. ill take the offer pero at around 140k to 150k. first owner ba?

hindi naman po madali masira yung accord, mahal lang pyesa if ever may bumigay. yung amin po, matanda na kasi car kaya medyo lumalaki gastos. if you have the time to fix the car, then ill say ok lang.

kaya po mababa ang resale ng city is because of the displacement and mas mura brand new than the civic. i think its a good buy if your not into driving fast and hindi lagi puno ang oto. if your going for fc and a newer model, this would fit you fairly.

Ganun po ba city sir tipid. So meaning mas tipid sa fuel consumption un vti/lxi dahil more power un engine. Dami tlga ak natu3nan dito.

Opo first owner daw cya at kumpleto daw cya pinaganda na kaya 170k.

So tawaran kopa ng konti?

    Thank you po.

DAGDAG KO LANG PO... WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS OF GETTING A 2ND HONDA CAR WITH 230K IN THE PHILIPPINES?

sir, anong klaseng paganda ginawa sa oto? repaint? mags? body kit? kasi when it comes to upgrade, repaint ay hindi na kasama sa presyo. then if sound set up... maganda ba sound quality? yung mags ok ba na brand? yung goma, makapal pa ba? dami po talaga factor sa ganyan eh.

regurading sa honda na 230k, kaya po sa 96-97 civic lxi or kung swerte vti. kaya lang baka kung may sira na mawalan ng budget for repairs. mas maganda na meron set aside pera for instant repairs kasi more than a decade na yung car.

kung 230k budget, tapos makuha ng 150k accord, ull have more than enough to sustain damages along the way. bring a mechanic with you kung gusto mo na talaga yung oto para makita kung ano ano repairs kailangan.

Get a civic VTI or LXI na lang na 97 model. Takaw sa gas niyang accord, di practical nowadays because of hi gas prices. The 97 VTI or LXI Civic are very fuel efficient car if we will talk about 1600 or 1500 engine category.

    Sir Archie,

Am not in the Philippines so can not really tell because I have not seen the car. Basta sinabi lang po nya, 95 accord, a/t, magic tint, leather seats, alarm/ keyless entry, sound set up (am not an enthusiast for sound so do not care for this as much bast tumutunog lang ok na sakin), 1st owner, the car will be in an excellent running condition when i take it when i go home. He will also work out all paper work so when i go home i can just get in and drive (parang plug n play ba?!) I expected repairs and I do have money set aside for that. The friend is my cousin's husband and he is a mechanic so about repairs, he said he would take care of anything an the car is assured that it is in a good running condition (guess for now). Am not worried about money for repairs I just want to know if i'll be better off with a different model than the accord. I mean in the long run which would be the cheaper to maintain. Makakamura nga ako ngayon pero in the long run kung madami naman gastos un accord na un baka lalo lang ako mamahalan. As in feeling ko po kase mas mahal ung mura.

    Sir Memphis Raine,

Naks pati name ni gone in 60 kinuha, idol mo talaga!
Thank you po sa in-sight pero they mean nothing to me unless I compare it with something. Ung pong post nyo, does it mean na malayo ung gagastusin sa maintainance compared sa mga civic's? Sorry po ha? ala ak lam sa mga cars and gastos sa mga to. I am driving a ford hybrid 2004 escape here. It never failed me yet and not ever shelled out money for repairs except for it's checkup just twice a year. So la po talaga ako comparison so di ko masabi kung mahal ba ung pagawa nyo o mura.

    Sir jcastillo,

That is a very straightforward answer.

Thank you po inyo. I love this site!!!!!!
