Im planning to replaced my stock 185/65R14 of my 00 Civic with 215/45R16. Will this tire fit without any problem without any correction (e.g. camber corrections). If it will hev a problem, how about 205/45R16.Many thanks.

No, my dad put on 205/50/16 (or was it 45?) on his at sumasayad na when he lowered it, even with the adjustable camber kit. Konting sayad lang, pero sakto lang yung kaunting putol sa fender lip (inner portion). If only I had pics.

205 is wide enough to give it that mean stance. I would imagine 215 is overkill, at hindi kasya rin. He used Advan Neova tires, if that helps.

205/45/16 is about 10mm lower than 205/50/16. It should fit easily.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

If the rim's off-set is correct a 215 should fit, since I've seen many old Civics with wide 215mm tires, some even with large 215/45R17 tires.
Its advisable to get a tire which has a similar diameter to the stock tires so it won't mess up you're speedometer/odometer readings...

    185/65R14 (VTi) diameter: 23.47in
    195/55R15 (SiR) diameter: 23.44in

    195/50R16 diameter: 23.677in
    205/45R16 diameter: 23.264in
    205/50R16 diameter: 24.07in
    215/45R16 diameter: 23.62in
    205/45R17 diameter: 24.264in
    215/45R17 diemeter: 24.62in

I think sobrang kapal ng 215. Malamang sasayad na yan lalo na sa likod. 205/45 R16 (porma) or 195/50 R16 (ride) are better fits for your car.

The tire size difference wouldnt be too much in terms of diameter so it should fit IMO. (25.5inch vs. 25.6 inch diameter)

problem is bihira ata ang 215/45/16 tires locally. i could be wrong though. common tire sizes on 16s would be 195/45/16, 205/40, 45 & 50 series.

i tried to get a set mga 5 years ago eh, settled for 205/55/16, i know medyo makapal, takot pako mag low profile tires noon eh hehehe

215/45R16 for my 00 Civic
