Unrelated yung battery and yung pag accelerate konti pag nagmenor. Ganun talaga yung tranny kahit nung bagong labas.

Pag matarik na paakyat best stay in 1st gear. While in "D" press "S" to go to sport mode and then use the "-" paddle shifter to make it stay in 1st.
Agree. My Makati condo’s parking slot is on the 5th floor. Ramps are relatively steep but were never a problem for my Camry or even my 10 yr old Escape to ascend. First time I drove my CRV diesel S up to the 5th floor, it struggled, not because of lack of power, but because the tranny held on to high gear and was slow to downshift. Nowadays when I pass by the condo I either use the paddle shifters or pause at the base of each ramp so that the the tranny goes into 1st gear before ascending.

Saw a diesel CRV stop midway sa exit ramp ng open parking ng Trinoma tapos nahirapan na ata ituloy kasi nag roroll back siya kahit hindi naman ganun katarik yung ramp.

I understand that diesels should have an advantage when it comes going up an incline due from a fullstop (more torque). Correct me if I’m wrong but what other causes could have resulted in the difficulty of the climb other than being overloaded?

Paano nga pala.nasisira ang EPS? Or paano maintenance ng EPS? Walang belt and walang fluid. So wear and tear na lang talaga?

Punta ka na lang Motolite or Amaron. Sigurado may size yan sila available. Yung Euro sizes (DIN) ang medyo mahirap hanapin.

Electronics na yung EPS so wala eto maintenance. Kung bumigay, most likely replacement under warranty.

Driver error yan. Kung di mo apakang ng tama yung accelerator pedal, di uusad yung sasakyan.

Maybe in the next few years Honda might decide for the CRV to use the 2.0L Turbo and 10spd combo found on the USDM RDX.

The current 9spd ZF9HP48 was first used on the MDX.

Just read this post earlier of Jeff Gonzalez from the FB page of CR-V Club Philippines:

“CRV V Diesel 2018 - engine complete shutdown while driving

Hello to all CRV owners (especially those who purchased a 2018 Diesel unit),

Anybody else here encountered problems with their engine suddenly shutting down? Less than 2 hours after I left the dealership after it's 1k PMS, the engine suddenly went off while driving and all power was lost. The steering wheel locked, the break pedal was not working and I couldn't even turn the hazard lights on. I just purchased this from Honda Cainta last December 22.

Please pm me if any of you encountered something similar. Thanks.”

He was lucky not to get into an accident.

Baka dahil sa Cainta binili? [emoji1787]

Wala naman ginagawa sa 1k PMS. Not even oil change.

Mukhang minalas lang. Ako naman 1 week after release last June 2018 nagpa 1K PMS then nag ka Transmission leak naman at 2K km. Leak came from hydraulic cover plate, not sure paano bumigay yung oil seal sa cover plate na yun. Honda Carmona replaced hydraulic plate cover, drained and replaced ATF in a day then another day spent at HCPI for diagnostics. Malapit na mag 20K in a few weeks.

Eto yung pinalitan na hydraulic cover plate

Paid 26.7k before, old rate ata ito. Yung extended warranty need to be bought within 1K/30 days upon release ng unit from the dealer, whichever comes first.

Nasa 31.4k na presyo nung sa Diesel, 30.8k for the gas variant.

Projected mileage ko is around 25k/year, that’s why I got the extra 2years/40k as an insurance.

Firewall na yun. But owners would easily recognized the spot.

Maybe this is clearer perspective wise.

i don't crv, so i can only guess.
if it is pliable, it's probably some hindi-natabas na velamoid or replacement gasket.

if it's hard, stiff, or metal, it's probably an anchor for some accessory that some engines have but yours does not have.

rats will munch on any munch-able part that the mechanic touches, immediately after finishing his peanut butter sandwich, with his bare hands.
they have to keep munching on... anything, to prevent his teeth from growing too long.
