I would say better. The bigger tires and higher ride height means that potholes aren't transmitted into the cabin as much as a low-riding sedan. Only drawback is that of course it doesn't feel as planted when cornering, but how many people attack corners on a daily basis anyway.

How about the ride comfort of the current and previous gen Honda CR-V? ... Are they similar? ... Planning to either get a 2012 Honda Accord, a 2016 Honda CR-V or the new Honda CR-V diesel ... or maybe a 2014 BMW X1 18d ...
Most used midsize sedans in the market have high mileage ... rare to see one below 30T kms ...

Sikip ng X1. But very punchy diesel that's a very good fit to the chassis. Had one for a week - it feels premium but is leagues away from the comfort and space of the CRV.
The current gen diesel CRV is good value. Class-leading space and comfort combined with a crazily efficient diesel.
We were offered a 2013 Accord V6 for 1.1M before. We opted to wait for the CRV - much more modern car with more space and features, plus the ride height. And we didn't need a 3rd sedan.
Compared to the old CRV, the new one is more refined. Interior is a big step up from before. Handling is also improved - better roadholding without sacrificing comfort and not a wallowy ride either. CVT also a big improvement over the 5AT. If you get the diesel, the powerplant alone is worth upgrading to the new generation because of the frugality and torque. Even if they have similar 0-100 figures, the diesel feels more effortless getting to triple digit speeds compared to the rev-happy R20.

A CUV will come handy if you need an all-around and practical vehicle (seat for 5 people plus lots of cargo space). Despite CUVs around the same price and fuel consumption as midsize cars, their registration cost is still cheaper than a midsize car and the extra ground clearance is something more of a need for others.
Second-hand midsize cars offer good value to some buyers. They are usually priced low and most of them are being taken cared for by previous owners. Some even have low mileage since fuel costs for using them are higher than a smaller car.
If you want a good value midsize car, someone posted here that Toyota is offering 1.35M for a brand new Camry 2.5G. That's one hell of a bargain.
Current price ba yan sir? As far as I know, yan yung price before na implement yung bagong tax ngayon. Pero kung current price yan, very good value for money yan. Midsize sedan but cheaper than top of the line compacts [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Wala po ba talagang trunk /compartment cover sa likod..? How do you hide your stuff? Laptop probably?

kung wala, any broad cloth will do. tablecloths.. blankets.. pampantalon material..
even newspapers will do.
the objective is to keep the would-be robber guessing, if there is something of value under them covers or not.
of course, if you want beauty as well, there is jut's tonneau cover.. if your car didn't come with it, it is available in the casa accessories shop.
but i wouldn't recommend you leave your heat-sensitive things like electronics, inside the car, unless the garage roof is guaranteed not to leave.
New personal best on the CRV - 24.2 km/L [emoji16]
Tagaytay to Nuvali so the downhill really helped a lot. But even for the entire Tagaytay-Fairview-Pasig return trip, I still got 15.4 km/L. [emoji18]

We also had a gen 1 CRV. No way that it could do 15 km/L for a Tagaytay-Manila drive.
I would get 10-12 km/L for mostly highway driving with it. For city driving it would get around 6-7 km/L, which is also what I get with the current CRV.

Awesome FE bro. Didn't realize that was possible with the gas version. How do you find the brakes? Ours is a little grabby.
It must have been in a higher gear. When coasting it tends to go to the higher gears to save fuel. If you step down harder it'll downshift and accelerate a bit more quickly.
