There's the Honda BR-V, Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Avanza ... or you can have more choices with your 1.1M if you buy used ...

But this will still sell for people looking for something bigger than a sedan for groceries, pets, extra 2 seats and for out of town/weekend trips.

You should probably be looking at AUVs such as the Innova, Mobilio, Ertiga, APV, Adventure, Crosswind, etc. The CR-V is a compact SUV, which has a variant that can also seat 7 when most in its category seat just 5, and is of a totally different class as your price range and expectations.

    I hope hindi sa hilo

I drive a strada everyday. Masarap sya idrive at hindi ako binibitin. The problem with the strada is yung mga passengers nahihilo especially sa likod. Matagtag sya. I'm assuming this is the same sa PPVs.

1.1M only gets you a mid-level compact nowadays.

Oh, im referring to the gas base variant for the 1.1M price tag. The diesel with added features would be definitely 300k more.
    Just wishful thinking here.
CRV, innova and vw caddy ang options ko actually. Clear favorite is the innova but ingress to the 3rd row is still a challenge. Best 3rd row ingress is the caddy

How much were the SRPs for the variants of the outgoing CRV again?

Ano ang majority opinion dito? Gas or Base Diesel? I'm torn between features vs fuel savings. May difference ba in terms of long-term durability? May cool-off period pa ba mga diesel engines ngayon? I normally do not go beyond 120kM/h. City driving lang. Biggest downer would be the analog radio (if I'm not mistaken) but I can eventually upgrade this to a 3rd party brand in the future. May difference ba yung 1" wheel difference sa baha? Speaking of baha, kaya ba ng CRV ang knee deep?

Can the second row seat 3 medium-built adults comfortably for long rides? Or 3 petite adults lang? 5inch difference sa hip room compared to Tucson and CX5 yung second row pero nung nakita ko sa showroom parang hindi naman ramdam yung difference. It seems wider than the RAV4 which has a similar hip room measurement on paper.

If ever, this will be my first time to own a Honda. Sabi nila mahal maintenance and parts compared to Toyota. Any comments? How about durability? Bagay ba sa Philippine roads and conditions? Aircon bumigay sa new-gen Civic ng friend ko.

Still, shame. Hopefully we get a 160 hp variant in the next model cycle. Maybe 2019?
Good point. Still, sperm dies a lot more slowly in faster grocery getters.

I'm more worried about 0-170. If it can reach that at all. Would probably take 90 seconds.
