About the engine, the 1.6 Diesel is just enough. Not too weak, but not powerful either. Saktong sakto lang for daily drive. One thing I noticed though is the LED high beam. Parang halos kapantay lang siya ng low beam, mas lumiwanag lang. Para bang mababa ang aim ng high beam.

Yung fuel range 520kms pa pero halos half tank na hehe. Nakaka one full tank palang since narelease ang unit around 1.5 weeks ago (Cavite-Manila route) Sobrang tipid talaga.

If you travel 12,000 km per year, tapos 6 km/L yung gas while 10 km/L yung diesel, bawi ka na in 3.5 years.

The higher the mileage, the quicker the breakeven point.

Given the price diff of diesel and gas now, vs the price diff of the gas S and the diesel S, you'll probably need to run 50k+++ kms before ka mag breakeven assuming the cost of pms is the same hehe.

Mga 40k kms lang. Lumiit na price diff between gas and diesel at 187k. Then the difference between gasoline and diesel cost is still around 10 pesos per liter or about 20% higher for gasoline. So kung 12k/yr ka then mga 3.5 yrs nga

So unless your gas is paid for by the company (as in your case) or you don't keep your vehicles very long, seems diesel is the way to go.

Yes, definitely. Especially as I expect the diesel to have better resale value as well so baka mabawi mo yung 100-150k from the 187k difference sa resale value in the future.

Been watching a lot of this guy's car reviews. he's really good... the editing and script is also admirable, comprehensive yet concise and entertaining at the same time. I'm not sure, but I have a feeling they're trying to copy Micah Muzio from KBB reviews.

Definitely better than the ones by topgear. You should also watch KBB (Kelley Blue Book) reviews. 👍🏼

Mas sulit 1.6 S diesel unless libre gasolina mo. Bawi ka sa resale value and overall operating cost if you plan to keep the car for long.
