Hindi bro eh. Naturally mas mataas talaga color temp ng LED kaysa HID. The LED is about 5500K while the HID is 4800K.

Ah okay. Pinagiisipan din namin yang fog retrofit since plano namin ipa-tint yung winshield. Tinted ba yung windshield mo bro? Kamusta yung LED headlights sa tinted na windshield?

EDIT: Nevermind, LED din pala yung foglights ng 1.6 S. So wala pala kaming magagawa dito haha.

Di naman bro. When we were adjusting it we considered the highest height possible without blinding a low-slung sedan.

Our CRV has 3M CS20 tint on the windshield. Ok naman yung low beam even on rainy asphalt, but yung high beam nga bitin.

Generally, LED headlamps are brighter than HID's.

    Not sure sa CRV though.

It's the other way around - HID retrofits are usually brighter than OEM LEDs. Such is the case with our CRV - the fogs have noticeably more intensity than the main beam.

Finally tested one ng matagal - 1.5 weeks and counting (1.6 S). As a gen3 CRV and Gen2 Monty owner, pinakaunang napansin ko agad yung ride. About the engine, the 1.6 Diesel is just enough. Not too weak, but not powerful either. Saktong sakto lang for daily drive. One thing I noticed though is the LED high beam. Parang halos kapantay lang siya ng low beam, mas lumiwanag lang. Para bang mababa ang aim ng high beam.

Yung fuel range 520kms pa pero halos half tank na hehe. Nakaka one full tank palang since narelease ang unit around 1.5 weeks ago (Cavite-Manila route) Sobrang tipid talaga.

We have the exact same observations. [emoji106]

Superb ride comfort without compromising handling, subpar high beam, adequate but not impressively powerful engine (but this is more than made up for by the incredible FC).

Not bad. Thinking if I should have mine done too. The stock HIDs on the V variant seem bright enough with 70 VLT tint but I haven't really taken it to a road with zero lighting.

Yup sir HID for the V. Although the high beam is halogen. As are the fogs.

You are right, halogen ang V Diesel variant. CR-V only comes with 2 types of headlights
    1. Projector Halogen
    2. LED Multi Reflector

I have a second gripe pala in addition to the subpar high beam. The third row doesn’t fold flat but it’s tolerable.

in the olden days, a sub-par high beam was easily cured by a large, long-stemmed screwdriver.
    can't you adjust yours, po?

I don’t know sir if applicable padin yan sa full LED headlights.
In my old 2010 CRV, isa lang ang adjustment ng low and high beam, hindi sila ma-adjust ng hiwalay.

This is what I first did. But if you adjust the high beam, even the low beam gets adjusted and you get poor foreground lighting.

Which is why we had it retrofitted - so the HID fogs can take care of the foreground lighting while the main headlights can be adjusted for a farther throw.

Awesome real reviews! It goes beyond the superficial stuff and It emphasized the intangible qualities of the crv over the competition like comfort, handling, ride, braking, solid feel, etc. So refreshing to read in the midst of some of the negative comments concentrating solely on looks that come from people who don’t even own or haven’t even driven the car.

For me, the new CRV is actually quite a looker. Theres something sa design niya that says premium, especially when compared to the older models. The full LED headlights are very premium looking.

Me? i drive a gas variant sobrang saya ko everytime drive ko ang car. buntis hindi magrereklamo promise! nabuang pa jud ko installed a 96k worth of audio via focal. except for the poor FC 6kms per liter which i dont mind kasi mas mura naman ng 220k, ang feeling ko na saya is parang napanalunan ko ang car na di ako nagbayad. pag nag away kayo ng asawa, just take that baby for a ride. haha
