Agree. There must be reason why big discounts is given to Santa Fe while there is none in Honda.

Like the entertainment system is really basic. Madaming nawala na features compare sa S and SX. While the Santa fe feels the same I believe it has a better engine than the CRV. If you were too choose. Would you consider Santa Fe over the Honda CRV 2017 V variant? Thanks po sa reply.

Maghonda nalang kayo sir. Yung santafe ng lolo ko after 5-6 years sabay sabay lumabas sakit nya na 150k agad sya (and counting).

pero I dont really say this often kasi nga baka itaas ang parts ng Hyundai sa Banawe/Pasay. would you beleive I only spend like P2800 per year PMS with my 2nd gen SF? I replaced my entire suspension system except shocks at less than 10K. I did that with my old crv, umabot ako ng 25K. ganyan kamahal ang Honda Parts even sa Banawe. there are as many Korean parallel importers here as well as Japanese parallel importers.

pero hinde bang for the buck ang current SF ngaun at the price 1.7M minus 100K+ discount, ni hindi leather yan at i-replace na yan model na yan. if you have 1.6M to spend, better go PPV or CRV.

Haha

Not quite sure boss.. either intercooler or evaporator kasi tignan from that view but it think it's the former. Yung busina i think is located the upper part ng foglights.

Owned a 1st gen kia carnival and currently a 2017 hyundai starex.

get the santa fe. the 2.2 r evgt engine is proven na here and abroad. check mo mga review regarding that engine. lahat ng car ko korean no problem so far. after one year personal maintenance nalang from may mechanics. OEM parts vs japanese parts mas mura.
try mo mag canvass ng mga parts labas yung mga wear and tear parts and consumable parts outside casa. mas cheap ang Original korean parts.

May Revgt tucson is now 7 yrs old. Well maintained sya. Until now i can help but to smile everytime i hit the double century mark. It is that fast.

consider minicarph's statement: santa fe will most likely be an outgoing model while the crv is fairly new. the santa fe has its own issues while there aren't any from crv. having owned both, maintenance, comfort, power, will go to hyundai. reliability, parts availability will go to honda. beauty is relative. tuning and aftermarket parts are almost the same. there are features in the 2013 santa fe that are removed in the 2016 facelift like push start.

    Hello Guys!

    Fancy seeing you here [emoji2]

If my posts attracted you here, my apologies. My experience with that brand is horrible.

If that's not the reason why you're here, welcome to the honda cr-v thread! [emoji2]

Anyway, there are some hyundai units that are EU spec-ed. Not sure if those are more reliable compared to the non EU spec-ed. The problem with those units are the warranty. HARI doesn't cover these units' warranty.

Not sure. Going to Manila sila. Saw some CX-5 also.
