No. Pinapabayad sa akin P9,000 LTO Registration for 3 years. Hindi daw free.

I also doubt the diesel engine's ability to carry 7 people.

Raise this thought to a number of people driving their Adventures and Crosswinds, a bunch of them I see everyday ferrying 10 people on public roads. Even the first generations of the Fortuner and Innova have less output than the CRV diesel.

Can't say that I'm surprised. The supervisor called and pretty much just gave me a load of bull. The first unit the allocator will give him, he will give to me. WTF does that even mean? He can always say the allocator gave the units to someone else. They won't even give a copy of the allocation list to me. Confidential daw. Ayaw din sabihin kung pang ilan ba talaga ako sa pila, he did not bother checking with the allocator.

Kung wala lang akong trabaho talagang paabutin ko ito sa head office.

Sa VW ko ganoon din. Sabi 2 weeks lang refund pero 1.5 months na walang follow up.

Finally said I will go to the dealership at this date. Either I get the check or I want to talk to the Finance guy na hawak yung processing ng disbursements. . .

    Ayun, 2 days after ready for pickup . . . :-)

Kung ako pinapalipas ko muna demand. Kapag after 6mos or a year, wala ng gaano demand yan. Tax lang panakot nila. Kung wala ng bibile, baka taasan pa nila discount. Nakakainis lang mga dealer na may DI pang dagdag. Oportunista lang.

Test drove the 1.6SX today - power is definitely adequate. Like all modern diesels, there's enough low-end torque to push you back on your seat. The 9AT really helps keep the car in the powerband (1500-3500 rpm only).

Less than 1500 rpm and you encounter turbo lag, more than 3500 rpm and it starts feeling breathless like most turbodiesels.

It's a far cry from the 102 hp of the previous Fortuner. It feels in line with the power of the current Fortuner and Everest - adequate in any situation, but not a pocket rocket. I tested the car with 4 passengers. If you include the 100+ kg penalty of the SX over the FWD variants, that's like an extra 2 people.

3rd row is small, but my brother and I fit just fine. It probably helps that we don't have beer bellies. It feels more or less as cramped as a previous gen Fortuner, with slightly less space for your feet. The recessed footwells are a welcome addition but you don't have much room to move your feet so it could be uncomfortable for trips longer than 4 hours.

For a quick weekend getaway to Subic or Tagaytay, it should be fine unless your BMI isn't normal and you're not taller than 5'8. I don't get the big issue though since most people don't even use the 3rd row of their PPVs frequently.

It takes some getting used to. Just like the electronic parking brake on my Civic which is actually convenient once you get the hang of it (Brake Hold is the bomb).

Quite weird though that the CRV doesn't have the Civic's remote start which is a really nifty feature.

Yeah, why remove the Remote Engine feature for such a high-tech car.

Sorry, what's does this featuyre do actually? Does this allow you to start your car while you are still approaching it? I don't see it useful if that's the case.

Right. The most important bit for me is the fact that you can start the ac of the car before you go inside as my condo's parking slot is open.

Taga south ka ba? Try Honda Sta Rosa. They'll give you a better picture kung ano available at pang ilan ka. Nalaman ko dun na kaunti ang silver units. Actually, wala daw silver kahit daw sa planta. Was thinking of moving my reservation there until BGC called na may unit na. Look for maylene if you opt to avail there.
