Really looks good! Way better than the current gen. Maybe Honda will be fielding a 200hp-tuned 1.5L turbo for the Accord.

How much would this one cost locally? I am betting the 1.5L Turbo AWD model will be around 1.8M or more based on the pricing of the Civic Turbo. It will put the price up there near the Forester XT.

I highly doubt it that HondaPH will release a FWD 1.5T model locally. In the US, the K24 will remain as the powerplant of the base model versions. I guess in the Philippines, we might see the current 2.0L R20 engine to be the powerplant of the base models. The AWD model will get the 1.5L turbo engine.

It looks really big, could end up being more spacious than the Forester.

Personally I still prefer the Forester's interior and exterior styling though. But at least this new CRV is more palatable from outside.

Let's wait for the initial reviews on hos it drives. Will it be together with the CX5 and Forester in sportiness? Or will it be the same comfort cruiser of a CUV?

It was benchmarked vs a BMW X3 so it should be ok.

For me if one were to buy a car it should have CarPlay or Android Auto.

They had to bm it against the x3. Honda cant sleep too much... the new rav4 is almost here.

They did a great job on the new pilot and new civic.

I wonder how this new crv sizes up against the 5seat santa fe.

Kinda disappointed that the Gen 5 didn't have a 3rd row as Honda mentioned initially. What I like though was the design, it didn't fall far off from the Gen 4. It's more of an evolution of the design, similar to when the it transitioned from Gen 3 to 4.

You mean 3rd or 4th quarter of 2017? Yeah, I’m afraid so. Too bad for me.
I’m currently based in Canada. The Honda gen5 CR-V are now hitting the Canadian Honda dealerships. Honda Canada official website is now displaying their CR-V with their gen5 version for their new models, but not in Honda Philippines website yet.
I am scheduled to go to the Philippines this mid-January, and hoping that the gen5 CR-V will be available for ordering by then, but alas not. Darn, I may have to settle with a Civic (gen10).
The Honda Philippine official website does not have the two door Civic. Can I confirm this from you guys who are in the Philippines, if this is correct? That there is only the 4 door Civic (new model 2017) available in the Philippines right now?
Also, the Civic hatchback is now hitting the Canadian dealership showrooms. I wonder when will it be available in the Philippine market, if at all? I particularly like the 2 door hatchback version.

^^^ No Civic Coupe or Civic hatchback currently in the Philippines. No mention also of such models to be released here. No news also of the specific model of the CRV Turbo to be released here. For around the same price of the upcoming CRV Turbo, you can buy the performance king of CUVs - The Forester XT.
