Santa, Ilocos Sur. The town has a very interesting layout when viewed from a map - it resembles a web. I was driving along from Vigan to Baguio when I saw it on Waze and decided to explore the town and stumbled upon the giant jackstones.

32,000 km on our almost 2 year old CRV. Have replaced the EPS already. Most recently, Honda QC broke the keyless entry system when they fixed a dent on the door - still waiting for replacement sensors. Another potential issue I'm watching out for is that when I drive the car hard on an uphill over prolonged periods of time, the CVT begins to whine. This doesn't happen with my Civic's CVT even when subjected to the same conditions.

Thankfully the other common CRV problems (engine mount, shifter column) haven't plagued our unit.

Hey this is cool info! Upon reading about these dolosse, they were really inspired by the design of jackstones.

Sinking feeling that the materials in the engine mount are not made for the heavier and vibration heavy diesel engine.

Yup. Premature wear on the engine mount resulted to a dribbling sound when going over mildly uneven roads. Replacing the mount fixed it and I'm now at 64k km with no recurring issues.

Yeah. That is pretty early for a replacement.

Sabagay, each brand has their own quirks

I think 24months is normal. they wont make them last 5years. they wont generate revenue from long lasting products/parts lol.

Way too soon. There are aftermarket options out. Hardrace has some.

Present! It comes and goes... hirap palabasin so di ko mai-report sa casa... i notice lumalabas yung rattling sa area nabyan pag sobrang lamig na sa loob ng car... so I'm thinking it could be the aircon ducts... parang gusto kon gang i-DIY kaso di ko alam magtanggal ng square thing na yan sa ibabaw ng dash. Hehe

Now that's weird. Though i actually read in a different forum about the strut cover making sounds... in the dashboard. Haha. And the guy never experienced that problem again after removing it. .
