Either S or SX sana target ko, I’m just curious kung ano difference sa FC and performance nung dalawa. Thanks sa mga inputs.

The 1.6S should be a little quicker and have better FC because it is lighter without the Awd system and heavier duty suspension bits of the 1.6SX.

I would think the difference would be minimal since in the brochure the weight difference is only 97kg. That's a lot if it had a gas engine, but this being a diesel, FC penalty shouldn't be as substantial.

If the Awd system is full time then it might have a much bigger impact on FC than just the weight penalty.

If you’re not after the Honda Sensing and AWD then the S will be a good choice. FC difference imho will probably be not so significant as it is not a full time AWD. My daily commute from Gen. Trias to Carmona and vice versa normally nets me a FC of 13-14km/L with the SX per full tank.

Bakit ang mura ng PMS sa Carmona? Here in Honda Rizal my CR-V's 15,000 km/18 month PMS costed ~7,200. Basic lang yun with FS oil. Coz they don't have mineral daw. 🙄

So 2nd set of bulbs na yung order mo? Baka sa retrofit din ang bagsak hehe

Honda #2 oil, 0w-16 bro. Di ko nabusisi masyado kasi hindi ako yung nagdala. But this is probably FS or semi synthetic like last time.

2,724.61 for 4L and 701.96 for 1L pre VAT. So around 3,815 total just for the 5L of oil.

baka pareho na tayong may caveat sa ating computer record: "costumer is a skinflint. do not bother offering the extras."
    heh heh.

one time, in the casa, SA said, after looking at the monitor, "basic lang sir, right?"

Full synth ata yang 0w-16 nila.
Magulo din yata post ko hehe. Sayang yung oil kung full synth bro. 5tkm lang inaabot bago mag 6 months. Sabi ng Honda before may choice daw na semi synth or mineral but they never have it in stock. Bakit kaya. 🙂

So di pala nila nauubos yung 5L? Loko itong Cainta di naman binibigay yung tirang oil.

Pero mas mura pa din yang sa Carmona, even if I removed the 1L ang mababawas lang is 786 pesos. Basic PMS din lang talaga nasa invoice, sabi nga ng SA mapapagalitan na daw sya pag may nabawas pa. I'm guessing mas mataas lang siguro yung rate nila for shop supplies.

A different CRV for today. The diesel really has much more useable power in day to day driving. Not to mention much better fuel efficiency - 11.6 km/L at 21 kph, would just be getting around 9 km/L at the same average speed with our 2.0S.

how about refinement sir? is the gas significantly smoother than the diesel considering it has relatively a small displacement diesel?

The 2.0S has a much smoother transmission because it has a CVT vs the 9AT in the diesel. And naturally, the gas engine is quieter than the diesel.

But most of the time you'll feel the gas engine more "stressed" as it immediately keeps the revs up when faced with any uphill or when loaded with more than 2 people. The diesel has ample torque for speeds under 80 kph and doesn't feel too burdened with the CRV's body.
