    Good for you, Sir! [emoji106]

Which part kaya ng enginensupport yung tumutunog? Are the rubber components loose?

Sabi ng SA baka doon sa rubber components pero wala naman crack based on visual inspection. Baka yung fluid daw sa loob (not sure if meron), ngayon ko lang nalaman meron pala fluid yung engine support. Akala ko piece of rubber lang yun

I get this little static electricity shock everytime i go down from the car (diesel variant) after a drive... pag nadikit yung arm or hand ko sa metallic (kahit painted) part ng door, nakakagulat at napapamura ako. Hehe. Nakakahiya sa mga ibang tao. Hehe. May sound pa nga eh... "tick!" and pag gabi, may spark pa. Hehe

I experienced these before sa car ng bayaw ko but it doesn't happen with our other car or previous car naman. Dies any of you experience this? Is this something I should worry about?

I was afraid it might spark fire in certain places. But it's that common pala.

    Thanks!

Baka panay rub mo ng paa mo sa carpet. Kasi naka brake hold ka. [emoji23]

Seriously hinde naman mangyayari sa atin yun mag spark while nag fill up since meron naman gas boy. Sa America lang yun since self-service pero meron na rin cover yun mga nozzle para yun gas fume eh hinde ma accident mag spark pag meron static katawan mo.

Ano po ba ang matting material nyo sir? May mga material kasi na when rubbed against the sole of our shoes, eh malakas makaipon ng static charges...

Tapos makapal po ba buhos ng semento sa parking nyo? If medyo manipis din ang pagitan ng insulator from your feet to the ground, eh kayang kaya ng static potential i-breach yung insulation na yun.

So what happens is, yung katawan nyo ang nagiging conduit of the static charges na naipon sa car nyo, tatawid sa inyo thru your contact sa metallic part, papunta sa ground.

Nothing to get worried about the car sir, ang buong chassis ng sasakyan ay nakakabit sa negative terminal ng battery; the car chassis actually acts as a large ground plane that shields the car's electronics from any electrical interference (static electricity included). Kaya, any charge buildup sa, lets say, matting, eh nadi-dissipate from the car to the earth ground through your body. [emoji23]

    Thanks!

Just found it puzzling at first since sa other cars parked in the same places , the "kiliti" is almost absent. Static shock occurs in the CR-V using stock mattings and the current Shark marring. Does the leather upholstery contribute? First car with leather seats eh. hehe

Yes, the leathers very much can contribute, lalo na kung ang suot nyo eh polyester-based... Synthetic rubbing against another synthetic material. [emoji4]

Maganda yung article na na-point out ni sir *chronicle. Baka makahanap ka ng metal something inside the cabin that you can touch first before getting off the car (Im thinking of the rails under the seat).

    Kiliti pa more! [emoji23]

My pants are likely polyester. Never bothered to find out but they're definitely not cotton. Nakakainis na nakakatawa... kiliting mapapamura ka dahil nakakagulat. Hehe

1st time ko malongdrive CRV namin sa provincial mountain road (Mindanao). Parang hindi 1.6 ang makina in terms of speed and torque siguro dahil sa 9 speed auto niya. Kayang kaya niya ang size ng CRV. I rarely see sa RPM over 2.5k, D mode lang pero hataw patakbohin. Mabilis makaabot ng 140 kph. Ang NVH niya lang ang medyo downside for me, rinig na rinig mo ang road noise lalo na kung rough asphalt ang kalsada.

Lakasan na lang yung radyo bro. My kalampag is back with a vengeance. Looks like the other engine mount is busted now. Kung bakit kasi di pa pinalitan yung magkabila!

Bro, to avoid static shock I just hang on to the roof as I alight the car and let go when my foot has touched the ground. Works for me in the other car with fabric seats.
