I noticed that gas CRVs use the Toyo Proxes R45 as the OEM tires, while the diesels use Michelin Primacy 3ST.

I wonder which is the better performing tire between the two. There aren't much reviews online for either.

re knocking sound, I had that prob before on my gen 3. And yes it is because of the EPS.

But as you stated kahit hinigpitan na, the toktoktok sound is still present, did they already check the top shock mount?

The SA didn't enumerate the parts they've check bro but I think they checked na the major parts that can probably cause the knocking sound. Nabubugbog na din kasi yung car kakabaklas ng parts and then test drive ng paulit ulit kaya they advise me na much better to wait na lang muna sa feedback ng planta regarding this problem. May hawak kasi ngaun ang planta na ganitong case din. Hopefully ma-figure out ng planta agad what's causing the knocking sound nakakairita kasi talaga yung bago ang car mo tapos may narrinig ka kumakalampag.

agree with you 100% na brand new ang sasakyan sabay may knocking issues agad. Hopefully mahanap talaga nila what is causing the knocking issue.

The V variant has Dunlop Sportmaxx's. So many OEMs for a single model hehe.

Been getting some suspension noise up front as well. You can hardly hear it as NVH insulation is top notch, but it is there. <1000km.

Yes sir Wh1stl3r mine started the same you can barely hear it dati kaya i just ignored it. Pero ngaun audible na talaga sya lalo na sa rough roads and minsan maski sa smooth pavement naririnig ko na din sya. Kaya pag medyo naiirita na tenga ko i just turn on the music

If you do not have the time to pick it up, then no choice but to have it delivered. You save on the hassle of driving long distance and the cost of toll fee and fuel.
However, I prefer picking-up a brand new vehicle personally to enjoy the experience and to closely inspect the car before it is released by casa. Also, I could ensure that the car is driven the way how I want it to be driven.

Better to pick up your brand new car sa dealer. Bulacan to Baguio is not a far. And you can also personally check your car before handover it to you. Secondly you can start test drive/ road test your investment. Car owner is more careful than a driver.

I think you haven't see how a how a delivery driver drive these cars.

Before, i would always see a long convoy of new cars from Star toll enroute to manila. man..... kawawa mga sasakyan. they drive like grand theft auto lang. whats worse is if they met an accident, will it be repaired then sold as new again?

Mabilis sila magdrive and puro swerving yes, but why is that bad for cars?

Between being perpetually stuck in slow moving traffic and being driven hard to the redline on the highway, the latter is actually better for a car. No soot build up, and you actually get to use all of the engine's potential.

Kung ako sir, kukunin ko na lang. Mahirap ipagkatiwala sa ibang tao na di mo kilala.

    Thank you mga sirs,

tanong po ulit, kasi mukang hindi isolated yung issue na may tumutunog tulad nung kay sir Bokyoo, ibig sabihin po ba may chance na affected pa yung mga bagong dating sa dealer?hehe

I think no one "yet" has a concrete answer to your question bro. Maski nga casa at planta blangko pa din on what's really causing this problem. Kaya i suggest to those who are also experiencing this problem to have it checked sa casa para malaman na din ng planta and other crv owners if this is just an isolated case or if there should be a need for massive recall if marami talaga nakaka experience nito.
