yes maluluwag talaga yan kitang-kita naman sa photo pa lang. I mean it's as wide as a Santa FE. eh yun mga PPV ngaun like Montero, MUX, Everest tanggalan mo ng mga malalaking gulong nila, I think the current gen Civic or Altis are wider, therefore roomier. eto cabin space ng mga PPV eh lamang lang ng onti sa Vios or City in terms of wideness. I know kasi mas nasisikipan ako sa Wildtrak ko kaysa sa SF ko. ma-feel mo naman yun eh kung gano kalapit misis mo sayo pang nakaupo
so in that dept, I think panalo talaga ang CRV sa lahat ng PPV. tapos dagdag mo pa comfortability. I think this will sell, and it will get a fair market share that is if Honda will sell in good faith. hindi yun benta benta tapos sasadyain kulang stock, tapos yun pala yun price na ni-release eh intro price na bigla tataas ng 50K sa pasko.
Honda is know to do that eh with the previous gen CRV. kaya hayun nasira sila. actually meron ng signs, eh gasoline lang daw irerelease ngaun august, sa october pa daw mga diesels, so malamang yun irerelease nila prices ngaun na diesel, hindi yun ang totoong price sa October once supply becomes normal.
tsk tsk why why are these people in marketing so predictable. hello, wag nyo na gawin sa Filipino people, Fiipinos today are all smart coz progessive na tayo.
learn a thing or two with Isuzu. nun release, they took humble pie and sold the lowest in PPV market at only 1.2 to 1.3M pero with ample inventory naman. so since 2k14 until now 2k17, maganda ang sales nila and MUX, an unknown brand in the Philippines suddenly become hotcake. ngaun lang naman nila tinaas sa 1.5M yan MUx eh kasi nga by law of supply and demand, dami na kalaban eh, tas euro 2 pa sila, so by selling high now but giving surgical discounts na mag-fall din sa prices nun i-inintroduce nila yun MUX, parang kumbaga stable lang ang benta ng mux sa price nila. that's good business I suppose.
with Honda, I hope you resurrect the greatness of the once tarnished CRV name. ok naman yun eh, who know, this might beat fortuner in the long run. i for one believe in the name CRV. eh kumbaga CRV naman talaga nagpasimula ng crossover SUV eh.
Never owned honda before but is it true na every 10k ang pms nila? Another check ito
well, when Isuzu first introduced the name MUX, I though yari sila why name it like that. so basically, the name / brand itself is a risk to begin with. who would spend 1M++ for the name MUX. Before the MUX, Ive always considered Isuzu as a proud or snob brand. let's take for example, the Trooper. It's as expensive as the Pajero FM that time pero it was a problematic diesel engine. Yes, Isuzu the almighty diesel car manufacfurer pumalpak sa Trooper. Given na halos lahat ng bumile ng Trooper noon eh nagrereklamo sa injector problems ng Trooper, they never acknowledged nor even issued a recall. para wala lang, bahala ka sa buhay mo. Trooper yan eh in the level of the Nissan Safaris and Mitsu Pajero. so ano nangyare sa Trooper, wala na. do we see a new model these days. wala partly because of this company's insensitiity to its very own Trooper buyers.
then they launched the Alterra to somehow compete the 2005 Forts and 2008 Monteros, tapos pinresyuhan nila ng mas mahal pa sa Fort. and to think the Alterra is just the prev gen DMAX na piner manent yun camper shell ng pickup and made it look like an SUV. ang output, ang pinakapanget na PPV noon, I mean the prev gen Everest was ugly na nga, pero mas grabe ang Alterra but Isuzu didn't budge, they sold it at 1.6M++
now, here comes the MUx. maybe the company had a new CEO, more humble and more customer supportive, so that's the story. they offered MUX na fully-loaded na (imagine may free DVD Player ka sa 2nd row hehe) and bigla ang ganda sales. take note, even if it's an older Euro 2 engine, the market responded well to their sincerity and commitment to quality.
now, eto na Honda. always proud, the prestigious. So many people were turned off with the last CRV. imagine i-offer mo yun Japan CBU at a premium price of 1.5M+ noon, tapos bigla mo papalitan ng Thai units na mas mura pero ibebenta mo pa din ng Japan CBU price. The people saw thru that and the brand CRV went down.
so now, what do you do? it's not like you're a Honda and you can put a premium car on new market na diesel. your diesel is yet to be tested sa currrent dirty diesel setting dito satin na kaya naman mura dito eh kasi nga para sa mga PUV and mga righthand coverted Trucks. IF Honda becomes too proud kagad, I doubt if CRV can compete. but I know it can compete, it might even stay close to the Fortuner in terms of sales, if the local Honda will admit to themselves that they need to re-market the CRV brand lalo na first venture pa sa diesel. all those toys are useless, kakatakot yun 1.6L displacement, ibig sabhin pinong-pino yan injector eh kaya lang pano pag nagpa-fuel ka sa mga ibang rumaraket ng gasolinahan with dirty diesel. at least, Isuzu, Toyota, Ford and Mitsu can be considered experts na sa local diesel quirks natin.
