12+ inches difference in length and 5+ inches difference in wheelbase. that is enough for a comfortable 1st, 2nd and 3rd row. think leg room bro, leg room. 5 inches shorter wheelbase means 5 inches less leg room for the 1st and 2nd rows combined. and for the length difference of 12 inches, if that is not mostly exterior (e.g., bumper) then that means more space for the 3rd row and luggage.
btw, the sta fe and sorento 7 seaters already have dismal luggage space with the 3rd row up. how much less a crv that is 1 foot shorter?
