The facelift looks sharp, especially the front.

Di mukang pilit yung pag update sa Honda corporate image/design.

Unlike the facelifted City, parang may something wrong sa harap eh.

Would have considered the HR-V if not for the ultra price bump last year.

Always discourage sa price ng Honda specially this one at CRV.

Hindi pa halos narerecognize may facelift na agad!

The HRV has been out since 2015. It's been in the market for 3 years which is about time for a facelift.

The pricing of the CRV is also at par with its competitors. The 2.0S CRV for example costs 1.65M. Same price as a Mazda CX5 2.0 ans RAV4 Active+, and slightly cheaper than the Forester 2.0i Premium (1.768M before discounts).

Yup, mahal nga mga yan Sir. I would rather get the dedicated 7-seater SUV, or the lesser price crossover.

what is in the suv construction, that makes it "different" from the non-suv?

    Yes. To each his own.

I checked out all the PPVs in this price range and none of them are as comfortable or as refined as a CRV.

Most car buyers don't really appreciate refinement and will just go for the biggest car they can buy for their budget.

...despite the mini-size of their garage.

I dont know for some buyers.

But for me, I choose ladder frame SUV for long drive with my family.
(at least mas safe ka sa mga ordinary na vehicle kung magkaroon ng disgrasya)

i used to drive a car whose body is known to flex a bit. it was comfortable, as a result.
but i prefer a car whose body/chassis does not flex. it makes for, to me, a more predictable ride.

It's a matter of being able to avoid an accident (Unibody) or survive one (Ladder frame) ...
