    dat small disk

I hope in the Mugen edition, they at least fitted bigger brakes, though brembos could be more than welcome.

Is this the same as the USDM edition? because i've seen one on the road and it's really not fugly. It's okay.

Here we only have two trims, CR-Z

and the premium one that is energetic yellow.

Kahit pa mas malaki engine ng 86, bebenta pa din to. Honda is honda di magtatagal eh marami agad bodykits para dito saka mga projects like k24 engine swap..

I don't think buyers of this car will have engine swapping in mind.

so why aren't people lining up for it? it's not doing anything special in terms of sales around the world, pano pa kaya sa philippines. while the 86 people we're lining up before it was even available in the market, and the number of people buying an 86 just keeps rising. honda is honda.:bwahaha:

They are both from honda and that's it. CR-Z is more similar to CR-X, except CR-Z is hybrid.

If you plan to buy one, get the MT since it's more fun to drive.

Too expensive to have an engine swap for this vehicle. You're better off using EK, cheaper to be a project car and has bigger engine bay for K24.

Comparing 86 wih crz is like comparing apples and oranges, the it and the anti-it. With regards to looks, off the bat the 86 may look better straight from dealer but a crz modified can hold its own. Went to Tokyo late last year saw plenty of dressed up crz, maganda rin. As it being under powered, well its not built to be a scorcher.

is it the cheapest hybrid vehicle around?

i saw this at the casa last friday and it's not a$$ ugly but it is definitely uniquely styled. hindi siya iyong usual sleek and "elongated" design ng mga sports cars

Alam ko yung Prius C less than 2M din pero ang pangit. Naka drum pa rear brakes.

Pag available na for test drive itong CR-Z, susubukan ko talaga yung 6 M/T

From the net: The Ugliest Cars of the 2013 Model Year » Scott Bradford: Off on a Tangent
    4th most ugly car - 2013 Honda CR-Z
With the CR-Z, Honda attempted to create a fuel efficient hybrid that looked and drove like a sports car—a ‘sports car without guilt.’ That might have made sense if the people who like sports car tended to feel guilty about driving them. Supposedly Honda developed the driving dynamics of the CR-Z by aspiring to the Lotus Elise, the Mini, and the Volkswagen Scirocco . . . which all well and good, but those cars look great, and the CR-Z doesn’t. Sports cars are supposed to be a joy to drive, and a joy to look at. The CR-Z, however, incorporates the worst design elements from across Honda’s model line and mashes them all together into a repulsive little package. When are automakers going to learn that affordable hybrids don’t have to be ugly? You’re not going to lose the sanctimonious environmentalists by making an attractive car, but you might gain the whole rest of the market.

Remember guys, this is just an opinion. Respecto lang...
    Peace to honda sales team.
Kevin, offended much of what I wrote? Respect is a 2 way road, you know? ;)

To your article, everyone knows Honda looks up to Mini as inspiration to build small and fun to drive cars. They are trying to go back to that stream as small cars are now growing bigger because of so many regulations. Gone are the days of cr-x and s2000 (if you are familiar to these cars), where they are the most fun small cars to drive outside Mini Cooper. The closest Honda has is the 8th gen civic Si. However, Cr-z is a hybrid and it is the most fun to drive hybrid car as of this writing. Compare it to Prius, I will take honda's in a heartbeat. To drive a hybrid car doesn't mean it has to be boring as Prius...

But of course, you are emphasizing the car's looks and not performance and cost of ownership.

    its ok. no fury... hehe

Need to mention that there is a law pending, that will lower the taxes for eco freindly cars. You gotta save a few hundred thousands if you can wait.

The irony now is that japanese cars with engines larger than 3.0liters are free from taxes. Naku, mga luxury items pa na una. Richer gets richer. poorer are robbed by taxing heavily
