If you were waiting for a Honda Civic that won't bore you death, your time has come. Sort of. Honda's freshened-up Civic looks like what it is: an update of the previous generation's Civic that skips the 2012 deathly beigemobile.

Honda took the unusual step of quickly refreshing the widely panned ninth generation Civic to make the front end look more like a car and less like a Space Balls escape pod, making it a better-than-nothing salve for the wounds inflicted by having to experience the most unattractive, uninspiring Civic ever.
As soon as we drove the 2012 Honda Civic we were impressed with just how unimpressive it was. The Civic has been one of the best selling cars over the last 20 years, largely built on its reputation for reliable transportation that's not terrible to drive.

Each new generation of Civic was a full step forward, but the 2012 Civic was a step sideways, at best. Not that it's a bad car. In fact, you should go out and buy one as dealers quickly try to offload them before you notice the 2013's debut at the LA Auto Show. You might get a deal. But there's a reason why Consumer Reports stopped recommending it and we dinged it.

Let's wait and see if they improved the interiors bec. that is where the majority of the complaints are.

Seeing the 2013 now, makes me appreciate more the way the 2012 looks. 2013 looks like a type-r or an Acura (not a good thing).

most cars shot at that angle would look nice naman talaga hehe. I'll wait for other official photos to appear, but obviously face and buttlift lang ito.

definitely an improvement sa looks, i recall what ive said sa ibang thread dati, all they have to do is palitan lang ang grill with the mesh ones (mugen/type-R -ish) and ok na ito.

hope the rear doesnt look butt heavy, the current one parang ang laki na ng pwet and now ang dami nilang nilagay, not sure about that chrome bar garnish, almost rear ng bmw 7series, out of character

interior is another thing and sana yung ang baguhin nila massively.

If you look at the spy pics, you will see that there is not much difference from the current one.
I'm hoping that honda could REALLY do better than this, as we're looking at civic as a possible next car.

if Honda Phil. doesn't release this MMC, then i'd strongly against buying existing 2012MY car and wait for this.... i'm sure by next year the Earth Dreams engine/tranny combination would be available by then....

Me too, We went to honda yesterday and tried confirming if that 2013 US version will be out in the local market sabi nila hindi daw and never will. too bad i will get stuck with this old box that I have, I really want the new revamped civic, The 2012 has alot of bad reviews and think like an overpriced vehicle, IMO lang ha, sorry for the current owners in case you see this. I hope they will come up with something better next year,
