Front looks a bit like the Honda Airwave (5-seater station wagon/MPV based on the outgoing Jazz/Fit)


It looks like Honda is going the Yaris hatch - Vios sedan route by giving the sedan version of the Fit/Jazz its own sleeker body to avoid the awkward looks of the current Honda City (looks like an MPV with a huge sedan trunk grafted on).

I'll post updates/details when I find any...

Bakit sa India? di ba sa Thailand sa August ang release ng new City.... Baka mod lang yan...mahilig ang mga Indians mag modify ng city's na super taba.....

Let me just express my opinion on this car:
Honestly, I thought of waiting for this vehicle to reach Philippines after hearing that it was about to hit our dealers. But sad to say, my heart just went with the vios instead.

I know that the current vios will have its face lift soon since its been here for a couple of years now but...

-I personally didn't like the exterior looks of the upcoming city (based on the pictures given above) since the front looks like an ant eater due to the grill, the trunk of the car looks similarly to those made by the Chinese and Malaysians. Someone said it looked like the rear lamp of the old gen vios and yes, I didn't like the old gen vios aesthetically.
-Honda was connoted with expensive spare parts and availability is not as wide as Toyota's.
-When I asked Honda Makati regarding the new city, they dont have any idea about the car and when it is due to come out.

+ I did like the interior specially the civic type telescopic steering wheel and the dashboard. I hope it still has the big legroom just like the previous and current models.
+ I did like the new Jazz but the price tag is quite high compared to its competitors
+ I wish they just based the new city from the new jazz just like the vios and yaris.

Of course, don't misinterpret me that I'm anti Honda city. Its just that the pictures did not attract me aesthetically and yes, pictures may not be the real outcome but it speaks a thousand words...

sa malaysia nag announce na ang honda na end of this year.. baka sunod na dito sana.. hehe

Aside from the Euro City (made in Turkey) being almost identical to the ASEAN spec City...
Wouldn't it be logical for us to get the ASEAN spec City?

Current ASEAN spec Citys have 1.5 liter i-VTEC engines, the Euro spec Citys have 1.3 liter i-VTEC engines (badged as 1.4's), we'll probably get both engines just like in the Jazz.

I heard Feb or March lalabas and pwede na magpa reserve ngayon kasi baka maubusan. P25,000 ang reservations and will be deducted from the SRP of the car. I have a friend who is with Honda Magallanes and can give us great deals. I will be paying my 25k next week na so I can get my new car soon. Woohooo....

ok naman po ung car.. head turner talaga sya.. lalo na sa mga chicks.. hahaha.. sali po ako sa thread na to ha.. tatanong ko lang po.. balak ko po imodify ung kotse ko.. san po ba meron mura nung mugen or modulo body kits?.. tsaka ano pong mgandang foglight ang ipalagay?.. ung mganda pero mura lang.. balak ko po kc mgpunta sa banawe.. tsaka kung walang mugen body kit na available, ung modulo na lang.. tsaka mganda po ba pgka kinonvert sa HID ung HL ng city?.. para kasing mganda tingnan pgka white ung HL.. problema ko lang ngaun is npaka pabaya nung mga kasalubong sa daan. mdyo ngasgas ung car ko, mdyo mdami dn.. bd3p talaga.. tpos me konting dent pa sa harap.. di naman gnun kalalim pero npaka pangit tingnan.. san po ba mgandang magpagawa?.. mdaming salamat po ha.. sna welcome dn po ako d2..
