    Hi,

I am trying to buy a 2nd hand honda crv and I noticed during test drives that the 4x4 variant has a heavy/awkward steering feel compared to the 4x2 variant.

My question is this really a 4x4 issue?

Any comments is much appreciated. Thanks

Hi! I'm also buying a 2007 CRV 4x2. I have tried driving it and there's no prob with its steering.. I haven't tried a 4x4 though..

How much will you be paying for that model? Thanks

i had the 1st gen crv from 2000-07, never had issues with heavy steering problems. how many 4wd did you test drove? drive multiple cars with the same specs so you can verify if the issue is persistent or not.

I drove 2 4x4's and both times I felt that the 4x2 steering is better.

Baka EPS yung 4x4 and Hydraulic PS yung 4x2?

Not sure, pero sa 2006-2011 Civic ganun - 2.0L models were EPS and the 1.8L used traditional PS
