Way back in 96 I think nung unang lumabas yung VTEC, sabi ng friend ko na naka ESI ampanget daw ng VTEC civic. Ang laki daw ng headlights parang dilat. Kasi ESI singkit diba. Pero that model eventually outsold the corollas of that time. Tapos tinrade in din niya yung ESI niya sa SIR nung lumabas kesyo daw malakas kasi makina asus! Ganyan lang sa simula yan mukha lang ngetpa pero pag nasanay na tayo gaganda din iyan! Basta wag lemon and ok pricing I think it will out sell the current RAV4 IMO.

wala naman binatbat new rav4 compared to this. ang uso suv ngaun likes ng chevy S3x, nissan murano, hyundai sta fe, cayenne, mazda cx7. etong CRV na'to napapanahon.

new Rav4 parang facelift lang ng mga sinauna compact suv.

I just saw some 2007 CRVs on my way home today, still on a transport truck, I couldn't take pictures cuz I was driving. They're actually look nicer overall compared to say if you're just looking on a picture but still that front end looks fugly. CRV anyone? no thanks I'll take the new RAV4 or the new Santa Fe.

a difference of almost half a million pesos in price.
kung bibigyan ako ng libre sympre rav4 pipiliin ko.
pero kung bibilin, i may consider the all-new crv.

I was referring here in the US. Dito kasi they will be probably priced about the same. On the plus side the RAV4 will have optional V6 while the CRV is only I4 and the Hyundai Sante Fe standard ang V6.

actually, medyo magkahawig nga sila. a bloke with his girlfriend was staring at it when he parked his lexus beside the new CVR at burger king carpark along the M5 service station. my first time to test drive the new CRV today. some portions of the body are still covered with tape although this was already announced here in UK just a couple of weeks ago and is now being shown in Paris Motor Show. some motorists were really intrigued because its head lamps and rear combi were partly covered by tapes while all the logos and decals were fully coverd by black tapes (body color is also black). i brought it to the supplier (assigned to me) that supplies some of the exterior parts. they requested me to bring the new SUV to let their factory operators see what portion of their parts are very vissble to the customers.

what i drove today is the hi-end variant with diesel engine. handling is a lot better than the current CRV, feels like a car and not a typical SUV. panoramic roof (front and rear seats view) is very nice and the SatNav system is superb with 8-inch touch screen LCD. like the 5DR euro civic, both petrol and diesel variants have the 6th gear. but i was only able to drive up to 95mph or 152kph along the motorways (90 miles or 144 km stretch one way) because i just didn't want to get penalised for 60 quid again...or worse get banned from driving. the LCD turns into a rear camera monitor when in reverse gear. aircon/heater has two-wheel temperature adjustments to give the right and left passengers the option to choose their temperature setting. seats adjustments are power-assisted. i actually insisted to use it again on wednesday and thursday when i visit another supplier (civic type S and R), but the person in-charge in keeping the new SUV won't allow me.

Is this true? Can anyone confirm this... hehe! possible ba na kapag nilabas dito ang crv may mga babaguhin pa, like features and especially that front bumper, to get the taste of us filipinos??
