May 3rd, 2007 04:08 PM #1I'm just wondering kung bakit 9-10km per liter lang ang consumption ng honda city ko (2004 model 1.3IDSI manual). ang dami ko kasing nababasa na yung ibang honda city car owners nasa 12-14km per liter and consumption. Matipid naman ako gumamit ng kotse. Ano kaya ang problem o dapat ko gawin to improve yung fuel efficiency?

Just my two cents, I own a '04 1.5 City, until now its been consistently saving me money travelling from Las Pinas to Makati everyday with 13-15 km/l. I guess it depends a lot on how heavy your foot is on the gas, what I usually do because I always use the SLEX is to retain a certain rpm and as much as i can stay on that rpm with or without AC on. I also use high octane gas (Petron/ Caltex). Try it and see the difference.
By the way, driving any car in trafik really beats all the odds on saving gas.
I hope this helps...
