01 civic ES engine into EK?

ever since nabaha yung EK lxi 99 ko i've been mulling over an engine swap. medyo work in progress pa din kasi yung kotse bago mabalik sa dati, so i was thinking... sabay sabay na kaya?

why not an engine swap na din tutal parati din naman kinakatikot yung engine eh. the ph15 it has now is ok naman... i just want more power. para sabay sabay na isang gawaan...

b16... expensive. the ES has a plain sohc engine, d17 yata, is this engine cheaper compared to a surplus b16 of unknown reliability?

nagawa na ba ito? malaking trabaho ba mag fabricate ng engine mounts nito? or will the engine mounts line up magically?

d15 is fine too, mas mura, kaso its still a 1.5 with vtec.

ph16 vtec local... of unknown condition, medyo alangan ako.

k20... hindi kaya ng pera.

zc carb... too old.

yung makina ng ES medyo mabago bago at iba na yung vtec nya. i own a vti-s 03 model and i'm quite happy with the power it makes, considering its got a heavier body.

ill go for the d15b on the swap para wala na mounting problems. yung vtec3 ba yung ipapalit? good idea rin, pero para lang sakin iba pa rin binibigay na power ng d15b vtec. though the d15b is still a 1500 motor, its still a better power plant than the es 3 stage vtec.

finally, mas ok na d15b with the p08 ecu... a few clicks lang, vroom vroom na... hehe
