    Hello:

I recently purchased a 2000 HR-V for my wife. I have owned an identical model for 15 years, and it's been great, and has only 66,000 km so far.

Her purchase just turned 100,000 km, and has had some unfortunate 'repairs' performed over the years.

We want to restore her car, and bring it back to its former glory. I am willing to import the needed parts if necessary, but I don't want to do the work myself.

Can anyone recommend a reliable shop for the following repairs:

    Replace timing belt

Flush cooling system and fill with the proper coolant mixture

    Evacuate and recharge the aircon

Replace all fluids (motor oil, transmission oil, rear differential fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid)

Adjust valves, replace valve cover gasket

And the big one: Replace clutch disk, clutch fork, clutch slave cylinder, and all hard and soft lines between the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder (all of these are to correct a horrible make-shift 'repair' done by the previous owner)

I want these repairs effected in such a way that most would never be able to detect that any work had been done since the car left the factory. I want things put right! I am willing to pay what a professional job should cost, but don't wish to be cheated either.

The Honda dealers don't seem interested in fixing the older models, and they are known for excessive charges too
