naalala ko tuloy yung nakita ko sa tv noon. it was a massacre of the whole family, peru wala yung wife. few hours later, na broadcast live sa TV,... na-interview yung wife na nagluluksa pa, tanong ng reporter: "possible daw myroon kang kinalaman sa massacre?"

Trabaho ba ng reporter ang ganung? D b pulis gumagawa nun?

    D nila trabaho, umeeksena.

Ang mga doctor, kasama rin sa trabaho yan. At pinag-aaalan nila yan. Para hindi nakakasakit sa pailya patient.

Milya-milya talaga layo ng mga local reporters kesa Western media.

In the US, soldiers killed in action have their names withheld by the US military pending notification of their next of kin. Reporters of major dailies and news programs are advised to hold in abeyance their identities. Pero dito sa atin, parang "scoop" ang dating kung ang mga reporter ang nagbabalita na namatay na ang mga kaanak nila.

OT: Bakit parang may gustong magrevive ng threads na binaon na sa limot? Hehehe

I remember this interview very vividly! Every now and then it replays in my head every time an earthquake is reported in the news. If memory serves, the reporter then was Gus Abelgas. I remember him shoving the microphone to this girl's face and asking her - while she's trapped in between solid cement flooring at least a foot thick - "Masakit ba?". I thought, how the hell can you ask that kind of question? Or even conduct an interview at all? She was trapped from the neck down and you ask if it hurts? I remember just wanting to throw a chair at the TV. This is why I never watch the news every time the reporter is this guy.
