This happened to me the morning of Nov. 5 on Commonwealth Avenue. I was driving down the stretch fro Don Antonio headed for Tandang Sora, when I pulled alongside a black Toyota Revo with plate XPP 259 which was being led by a single motorcycle police escort. Since they weren't going very fast, I began to overtake on their left side. All of a sudden, the Revo swerved to the right, apparently trying to prevent me from getting ahead of it. I wasn't trying to get into his lane, just trying to pass on the left lane. I blasted my horn and went ahead anyway. A few second later, saw the two vehicles in my rear view mirror, it seemed like they were trying to catch up with me, swerving left and right to get ahead of other cars. They eventually came alongside me on my left. I didn't try to stay ahead and simply kept to my lane. To my surprise, the Revo suddenly swerved to the right, trying to force me out of my lane. The crazy thiing was, they weren't trying to enter my lane. The idiot just seemed to be trying to make a statement, "wag mo akong uunahan!" What the f**k was his problem? Paging the authorities! What the hell are you doing about abusive morons like this guys?!

Well, I wouldn't have tempted fate if I were you. Wala naman yatang emergency, so no need to overtake. Also, baka naman may pagka-alanganin yung pag-overtake mo kaya medyo nagalit, yung tipong nagmamayabang.

Kasi if it was a simple and harmless overtaking maneuver, I don't think he would have gone ape-****. Unless talagang psycho yung hagad at driver ng Revo.

^^^Dami mo namang assumptions pare, like I said in my first post, he wasn't going very fast kaya it was but natural that I would pass him since clear yung lane ko.

easy lang bro...galactus was just pointing out yun ibang reasons kung bakit nagalit yun naka revo not necessarily na ginawa mo nga yun sinabi ni galactus...anyway, nakakbwisit nga yun ganun feeling nila they own the roads

I was merely positing another view on why he reacted the way he did, which is not uncommon in this forum. Surely you can't expect everybody to agree and sympathize with you.

But I never lost my cool without a reason.

Medyo nagugulohan ako sa post mo. If you pulled alongside the Revo and tried to overtake on the left, and he swerved to the right, dapat palayo siya sa yo (assuming you were on the Revo's left). Or kung nasa right side ka ng Revo, and tried to overtake by swerving to the left, baka nga may karapatan siyang magalit sa yo, kasi nga swerving ka. But in a later post you said na clear yung lane mo, so why not go straight? No need to shift left or right to overtake.

^^^My mistake. The first time he swerved into my lane was when I was passing him on HIS LEFT. He suddenly swerved LEFT trying to prevent me from passing. That's when I blew my horn. Afterwards, he passed me on MY LEFT, and then suddenly swerved RIGHT. At no point did I ever change lanes. Dyan ako nabiwiset, I was minding my own business, keeping a consistent pace, and the SOB tries to drive me out of my lane, at mey kasamang pag-blare ng wangwang.

That's why when I pass motorists, I make sure I pass them. Fast and painless. Otherwise kung tatapatan mo sila, they might get a different message. Or worse, try to get your car out of your lane like what happened. There are motorists, and then there are just drivers. The fact na naka-wang-wang siya and with an escort should make you realize he can be armed and stupid.

Ingat ingat na lang bro, like I said baka armed siya so he has the confidence (or stupidity) to act as he pleases.
