Having death threats does not give you the right to use audible/visible warning systems on your vehicle nor to cause endangerment to other motorists on the road.

If you need protection, get armor. Flashing lights and wailing sirens won't get you anywhere once the bullets start flying.

I'm not even that old, pero grabe na talaga ang mga bata ngayon.

I only know of one DC.org Vitara. And he is a licensed physician who goes on 'on-call' status as part of his job. Horns may be irritating. But we never use sirens in our job.

I don't know what happened between you and doc wiretap so I cannot comment on that situation. I'm just speaking about how the job generally works.

If a crash does occur, whoever is at fault will still be at fault. However, that will have to be dealt with at a later time. Depending on what the call being responded to is, the responding physician can opt to have another team (e.g. the EMT's) respond and attend to your needs should anyone require medical attention.

If anyone needs some anger management help, our community center is open 24/7 to cater to such needs (huwag lang kapag ako ang on-deck and on-duty). :D hehehe. Peace tayong lahat.

mga kaibigan, hindi ko sinasabi na may karapatan na gumamit ng wang-wang o blinkers ang may death threats, ang sinasabi ko po ay very risky ang ginawa ng kapatid natin na sumita. ika-clarify ko lang mga bossing, the altis guy is not a friend of mine, i only consider him as an acquaintance, we have a common friend, and we met only twice, and i cant even remember the guy's name, so no one can justify na im on his side or anything to that effect. i also dont know trup, so i guess i wont really give a damn kung may nangyari sa kanila (at mabuti na lang, wala). i just want to reiterate to everybody na hindi natin alam kung sino ang mga kahati natin sa kalsada, i believe you have seen enough of those celebrated crimes that started as a simple traffic altercation.inuulit ko, hindi ko sinasabi na may karapatan na gumamit ng wang-wang o blinkers ang mga taong may death threats o sinuman na hindi allowed ng batas natin.

From what I read in the first post, parang sila ang unang sumita kay trup.

Which doesn't really make sense if your life is really in danger. Hindi ba dapat you drive to the nearest police station or to another familiar place or just try to outrun the potential threat instead of stopping in the middle of the road, getting out of your vehicle and confronting the SUV behind you?

Maybe that guy needs to see a psychiatrist for his paranoia problems. Then a little bit of reflection to actually see why he is getting death threats. Maybe its because of his juvenile way of handling situations similar to that kaya dumadami ang kagalit niya.

Btw, 'on-call' status are more popular in smaller institutions which have less physicians and specialists to rotate. Being on-call is still a hell of a lot better than being on duty. Although most of our on-call staff at the hospital just opt to sleep in the quarters upstairs.
