Wrong Name formats sa LTO OR/CR...

LTO made a mistake sa pag input ng lastname, first name and middle name ko sa OR/CR

e.g. Robert John B. Smith

Surname: Smith
First Name: Robert John
Middle Initial: B.

Naging: Smith John Robert

Surname: Robert
First Name: Smith
Middle Name: John

Madali ba i-change ng LTO ito? Should I tell the sales agent and insist that they correct the typo? Gawa na ang OR/CR. I'm just waiting for the plate.

Opinion please....

p.s. Hindi na ako ma-identify ni fireblade nito kapag pina-search ako sa LTO...heheh

have it corrected ASAP... nangyari naman sakin before ay typo sa chassis number. nung ire-renew ko na lang saka ko nalaman yung mali. it cost me 1k to fix it kasi change venue yung rehistro....

When I first asked the SA to have it changed, sabi niya "ok lang daw yan". Mukhang mahihirapan siyang palitan yun OR/CR. Then again, baka katamadran lang.

The name is actually Chinese, kaya nakakalito talaga.

The downside of course, is that it may take longer to get my OR/CR/LTO Plate pagpililit ko ito. Almost 1 month na rin akong walang plaka....and I want my LTO plates/docs na!!!

Paayos mo na. if ever ma delay ng konte, kulitin mo lang ng kulitin sales agent mo,total its still their responsibility.
better a small inconvenience now than a bigger hassle later down the road.

Have it changed by the casa. It is their lookout to ensure that all documents that they have released are valid. I am sure kaya ng liaison nila yan with LTO especially if they were the ones who made the mistake.

Re tracing of ownership, still have your address though

i agree...ngayon pa lang ayusin mo na. matagal talaga yan pero mas magiging problema kung i dedelay mo. nangyari rin sa akin yan before. wrong engine number naman, kasalanan din ng dealer pero hindi ko rin napansin. Imagine, three years ko nang ni rerenew, hindi rin napapansin sa LTO until nag request na ako ng change of ownership nung binenta na. Sakit ng ulo! Gastos na, abala pa!

May lumang OR/CR ako dati, may typo....tapos type over lang nila. Ngayon, napansin ko computerized na.

Asking LTO will take forever kasi.

Malamang katamaran lang ng sales agents yan.

Kapag nalaman pa yan ng Sales Manager or the other bossings nila, sila rin ang malalintikan.

Kargo pa nila yan..... i dunno maybe it falls under the consumer rights.
