    come on...think!!!

9pm?thats too late for you my child.5pm onwards wala nang traffic sa katipunan.traffic lang jan USUALLY,4-5pm.pag labasan ng grade school.

To be honest, the reason why Ateneo causes more traffic usually is because they are nearer to a main intersection (Aurora), a lot of their "sundo" blocks the road opposite of the school where most of the establishments are. In Miriam, halos wala naman tambayan sa tapat, in addition, I see a lot less students driving cars there than in Ateneo, of course, you must factor in how many people are in Ateneo over Miriam.

I used to live in Fairview (before you most under 21yo are born) and ever since mas madami talaga traffic (meaning, cars going in and out) ADMU than UP or Miriam.

    That's a logical fact.

talaga totoo yan pare. years back, my Dad would take me to Ateneo at 6:30 in the morning para lang makaiwas sa Traffic.. then for a time, tumira pa ako sa Laguna for two years but still adamant parents ko na pumasok pa rin ako sa Ateneo. So, I wake up at 4:15AM lleave the house by 5:30 in order to get to Ateneo by 7:00. Sheesh... looking back at it, napapa-iling na lang ako...

I used to wake up at 5:30am in the morning so that I could reach school in time at around 7am. Studied at Hope before and I live in Paranaque, that time wala pang Diosdado Macapagal and we had to pass by Coastal Road and sobrang traffic sa coastal road at that time pag dating ng mga 6:30am. And when I reach school I just walk pag inabutan na ako ng traffic, and didn'nt mind it, a little "fresh" air wouldn't hurt.

    comment lang:

sa singalong sa manila area, may public school. pag labasan ng estudyante, isinasara ang kalye. as in walang kotse ang nakakadaan. tapos pila ang mga jeepney at pedicab. and this singalong street is major artery towards quirino avenue.

i guess basically, rich or poor, parents will always want to protect their children no matter the cost and utilizing all resources available

well you will know if you become a parent M2...
kung pwedeng lagyan ng red carpet lalagyan ko eh he..he

pero still dapat considerate din ang ibang nagsusundo or naghahatid, since pare-pareho gusto makapunta or nakauwi agad right...

    sabagay...

better yet... the schools should provide an ample drop off point for their students... yung pwedeng mag drive-in and drop-off safely yung mga kids.

I'm a proud alumnus of LSGH and yes I admit that the school creates horrendous traffic every schoolday. It looks like it has become an Ortigas Ave. tradition everytime school's open... I remember the days when La Salle didn't have the inner driveways and the traffic reached what is now ADB. To top it all, the MRT and the flyovers weren't in existence yet...

Then I studied in DLSU... I used to laugh at myself whenever I'm aboard a PUJ during the critical 1600H dismissal time of most freshmen... The jeepney drivers curse to high heavens like: "Put#####ang La Salle 'to. PWE!!!!"

Fast forward to 2006, now my son's 2nd grade in LSGH. I just smile whenever I encounter the Ortigas traffic each and every schoolday, be it in the morning or during dismissal...

Ngaks.

At present, when my lil sis goes home from school (elementary siya, big age gap kami), the vehicle/s will not even touch the road fronting the school. Ipapark na lang a few streets away where it won't disturb traffic.

grabe yan traffic na yan sa LSGH. kahit hindi pasukan or some event making use of thier gym or whatever, grabe ang traffic. minsan nagiging parking lot yun daan(literally) hanggang GH Shopping mall... siguro naman with financial backing of the school they afford to put up some sort of solution like an elevated parking lot or put up a building or two within their campus para lang maging waiting area ng mga dudungs at indays
