Hi, not sure where to post this: I'm just wondering. What is the current rule on use of brand new cars? I assume when someone buys a brand new car, the dealer will still process the actual car registration and the OR/CR will be released a few days after. But the car will already have a conduction quicker and a MV File Number.

Is the owner allowed to use his car? Or does he have to wait until the OR/ CR has been issued?

    Thanks in advance!

You will only get the MV# when you get the ORCR.. so you can NOT use your car if you don't have ORCR..
