I know chloroform, have handled it, know its odor and its effects. I'm glad nothing bad happened to your GF and that goon should be caught and put behind bars or be given a taste of street justice (painumin ng chloroform tapos i-sprayan ng pepper spray yung balls nya at mata nya!)
but what's curious is, if it's chloroform and it's put in the air freshener bottle, then it should affect not only the passenger but the driver as well since they're in an enclosed space. Chloroform, once it volatilizes is a lighter than air vapor, is not selective too and i doubt if anyone can develop or has an immunity to it. kahit hayop, kaya patulugin nyan when inhaled in sufficient quantities.
Unless the driver is wearing some sort of respirator or gas mask or directed lang talga yung chloroform vapor sa GF mo thru the fan/blower.
anyway, regardless what it is, I sure hope they catch crooks like this, find out what they use and have it banned or strictly regulated. Yun pa nga pala. You cannot just get chloroform nowadays coz it's one of the chemicals on the watchlist of the PDEA (Philippine drug enforcement agency) since it can be used in making illegal drugsLast edited by rsnald; December 13th, 2007 at 03:17 PM.

No offense meant to the TS, pero this is the stuff that hoaxes are made of. Wala kasi masyadong detalye, like the name of the taxi and plate number. Also, mahirap mag-drive with one hand holding a handkerchief covering your nose and mouth. Kahit tinakpan ng driver yung ilong niya, depending on the length of time, pati siya maapektuhan ng chloroform. (Hindi naman all the time eh nakatakip yung panyo, kasi he has to shift gears).
Better din sana kung nireport sa presinto yung pangyayari, instead of online forums.
Peace!

Yup, she's doing all right. The redness in one eye is almost cured as the medicine that the doctor prescribed is working. As to the license plate, i'll post it as soon as i get it.
As to the police report, it was the police that were able to get the license plate as she was too disoriented and her vision was blurry due to the chemicals. She told me that nakablotter na yung taxi. I told her that we should pursue the criminal case if ever the taxi is caught.Last edited by bender; December 13th, 2007 at 05:31 PM.
