    Hi Tsikot Community!

Please help us find this hit and run bastard! Last Saturday July 23, 2011 at about 5:41 am NB exactly at the Alabang Viaduct Flyover my dad was riding a Silver BMW 1600GT Motorcycle was hit by a Light Blue Toyota Yaris. He was hit at the left side of his motorcycle my dad tumble/skid/tumble and slammed into the side barrier of the bridge. Luckily my dad suffered only bruises on his knees and hands. His fingers suffered severed tendons that he cant move his little pinkies. The car that slammed into him never bothered to stop. My dad is ok now and is starting to search the bastard. My dad's motorcycle is only 3 months old and only 2 in PH at SRP of 1.8M incurred extensive damage approximately at Php 300,000.00

MATES also has a photo at entry point, showing the culprit's plate number. It looks like ZSZ 570, placed on top of a europlate with the number "8" at the end.

We have determined where the vehicle entered from: Southwoods NB Plaza at 5:33 am, while the accident was recorded at 5:41:15am, Saturday July 23, 2011.

This bastard must be held liable for this incident. He must face criminal charges we will slam into him. What if there were other vehicle that time that may hit my dad. Where he would be now? We will not let this pass. We will teach him lesson. So please help us to find the whereabouts of this Light Blue Toyota Yaris with Plate ZSZ-570.

    Thank you…

After various contacts one of my dad's friends also a BMW Rider that works in the same company searched their HR's list of the name that was registered to the Toyota Yaris and BINGO! we got name and mobile number. Apparently the driver was the husband of this Ma. Margarita Lopez during the accident. He told my dad that they did not stop because they think that he was carrying a gun. WTF? You almost killed the person and now you think he endangers you by thinking he has a gun? What an a__hole!!! Why not help the injured first! They also told my dad that they have reported this to the PNCC Office but my dad had been to PNCC since yesterday and not reports were made by these couple. They told us also that they will settle to us. We decided to teach this guy a lesson. We will file a case + settlement.... What do think you guys?

The Yaris came with 3 years LTO registration so her renewal is probably by 1/14/2012

Hmmmm. Onga `no. Anyways, I`m wishing that justice will be served for the TS. If the damage can't be paid fully, atleast a part of it. Just to teach these crooks a lesson.

    Halata naman na mali, eh.

BTW, * what speed were they running? Mukhang mabilis din eh. I hope it's not above the allowable limit.

I don't know about your opinion but from the video it would seem the motorcycle was changing lanes from Lane 1 to the outer edge of Lane 2 then back into the inner edge of LANE 2 when the motorcycle collided with the YARIS. From that angle, the motorcycle would have came in from the blind side of the Yaris.

The Yaris also changed lanes at the same time as the motorcycle rider decided to swerve left in his lane.

Of course this doesn't excuse the driver of the YARIS from not stopping and rendering aid to the rider.

Just saying that there is enough wrong decisions to go around if we are going to play the blame game for this accident.

It's pretty impossible for the idiot Yaris driver not to see the BMW. It's a very big bike with a distinctive sound and yaris is a very small supercompact with poor sound insulation. At that speed, the BMW would be quite loud. Also, the BMW was already on the lane. The Yaris is definitely at fault here.

I hope you get what is due.

They were also scared that the MC rider was armed given what we hear from news and when they looked at the rearview mirror, he was already about to stand. They left and reported the matter to the nearest police station. The incident was blottered and the police office in Bicutan radioed the Alabang personnel to check if the rider was still there. No rider present anymore and no report was filed. They left photocopies of their IDs, two mobile numbers and pertinent documents for tracking if report was filed. They also reported the incident to the LTO and same thing, no report was filed. Yes, they are willing to settle and the rider may contact me so I may forward the same to the right person.

That is her side of the story.

I know this can be settled, no more flaming please.

This is what I have posted in another forum site and I just added couple of minutes ago.....

Have spoken to both the rider and the cage owner, hope they may settle soon.

    Thank you MCP for bridging.

Thank you everyone for the help.

It's a good thing the rider didn't get run over by a truck and is still able to consider a settlement.

Actually, that's what I've been wondering about too. From the video, it looked like they intentionally swiped the motorcycle for trying to overtake - but that's not a normal kind of behavior so it's probably an accident or lapse in judgment.

*Fireblade, Hats off to you Sir!

Although I wonder, how do you put a price on endangerment of life. I hope the TS would their settlement.

I was assuming the Yaris changed lanes because it was going back to the "normal" lane. As we all know the leftmost lane is only for overtaking purposes
