Visible means readable at a certain distance. Slightly colored plate glass cover reduces the distance of visibility and there are some perspective that it could'nt be read because of light reflection from the sun or headlamps.

what's the point nga ba sa pag lagay ng tinted glass or tinted plastic sa license plate?

    ---

    What is "visible"?

a "visible" license plate is a license plate that witnesses or victims can read clearly when there's hit and run.

My license plate is readable from a reasonable distance. I know this because if my designated driver comes to pick me up sometimes I immediately look at the license plate from a distance. My car is a very common model you see.

what do u expect from simple-minded traffic enforcers?

O di kaya, replace na lang your plate covers w/ a clear, transparent cover.

Makati city is very good in creating new offenses for private motorist to offend. It almost seems to be an INCOME GENERATING venture of the city government.

I really can't wait for Binay to get replaced.

How can we consider following the rules and regulation when the entire city itself is NOT following the rules & regulation for Metro Manila?

Bawal nga ang tinted plates. Period.

Which is a good thing IMO.

Nasa mga enforcers AND drivers kasi yan. Tingnan mo kahit gaano reckless ang driver pag dinala mo sa Subic ambait magmaneho

with this case meron naman talagang violation eh, and it's not only in Makati that tinted plate covers are not allowed, it was LTO who came out with the memo so in essense bawal na sa buong metro manila, it's only in makati na na-enforce lang ng mahigpit..

so I don;t see anything wrong with that.

if you're pertaining to the odd-even scheme window time, it's not only Makati that is not following the scheme,at least in Makati odd-even ais in effect while Pasig for one scrapped the odd-even all together..

Mayors have sole authority when it comes to local management, traffic schemes included.

Visible License plates...what does visible mean?
